To LST or not to LST … that is the question

Should I LST?? I’m growing ILGM OG Kush auto flower. I know I probably should, but part of me wants to just let her rip and see what happens all natural. However I’m in a small tent (18x18x56) and the website says the plants usual height is about 40 inches. What would you do?

I believe your Light distance for flower is 14". So pending how the plant reacts your looking at 10-18" away from the canopy. Add in the height of your pot guessing 8"? That gives you 30-38" plant. And that's considering your light is mounted to the top of your tent. Training is definitely recommend.

There’s no training you MUST do. I’d be weary of ILGMs estimation.. they’ve been way off on both sides of things in my experience.. If part of you wants to see how things grow naturally without training.. do it man. Worst case you can super crop last minute to keep it within the size you need..

Lst I have same height restrictions. You plant will get too close to light if it gets big. All depends on what it is growing in.

If you have more seeds of that particular autoflower, let 'er rip! It will help you out a lot on your next run of that cultivar, so i say do what you want.

You MUST do LST (and defolation as well) especially if you have a small GrowBox. If you leave her to grow wild you will get a jungle in your box in about 5-6 weeks. Have a nice grow ! Good Luck 💪🙌

Have I LST'd right?I have tried LSTing and tied down the stem to the pot. I also have a scrog net to help with pushing some of the leaves down and I have tucked them. Does this look right? I feel like I need to also remove some leaves to help but don't want to damage it as its an auto. thanks
