Yes you can top them! You need to do it early but not too early. Wait till the plant got 5 nodes, cut the highest and the lowest node. This together with LST will give you a great shape plant during the grow. Enjoy your grow!

I heaps prefer to just bend them over but I’ve topped before both intentionally and a weird seedling that topped itself and harvests are very similar. I still prefer bending them over tho just because I think it’s less stressful for the plant

Absolutely top them as early as possible. One of the best training methods for autos since you have a short veg time.

just topped my girls ; when to change pots ?Hi everyone !
i topped my girls for 1st time in 3 years of growing (auto, so LST was enough ; i now try photo)
i did it in week 4, when they reach 10-11cm and 4 internodes. they are in 3L pots.
my question : how many time must i leave them rest befor changing to 14L pots ?

Topping at two weeks?I wonder what the effect of topping so early will have? Week two is pretty unconventional, with most preferring 3-5 weeks. She seems pretty happy though. Hopefully this will give maximum uninterrupted ( minus of course the LST ) veg time now.Week 2
