also, just because soemthign has a 'statistically significant effect' doesn't mean it is very noticeable. red should cause taller plants, but will you notice? maybe with 1,000 plants it adds up but less likely in a homem grow. i'm not saying either way on this.. just that some correlations, even if true, don't mean much.
go ahead and do it and see what happens... if you ever run a garden of clones from same plant, try centering it on one side... if you can't see a difference, it isn't be a huge factor.

i won't be using clones, but will have half 2900K and half 3400K this coming winter. warmer 2900K has higher proportions of red. So far, i haven't seen much of a difference. genetics is still 95% of equation in that regard, i'd guess. Small percents matter more at much larger scale of production.
