Like you said, Root Riot are sponges. ^^
And yours are wet. The root may don't get enough oxygen and drowned a bit.
You should check if the PPFD (the amount of light your lamp emits) is over 400μmol/m².s, I suspect too little photosynthesis.

With coco, you will need a little cal/mag added in. Coco doesn't hold it very well. What ever ec of cal/mag you add, decrease the grow fertilizer by that amount. Lots of nitrogen in most cal/mag suppliers.

This plant should have been planted long ago. Pellets don't hold what the plant needs. Get your planter ready, adjust the ph for coco to 5.8 and plant her with regular feedings. You can find a feed schedule on my profile page for soiless grows.

Persistent issues - wilted leaves, light-green splotches, brown rootsMy plant has these issues. I've rinsed off the roots in case it was nutrient buildup on roots, which I still believe to be the case. I have given this plant a good amount of nutrients the week before. Does this appear to be a deficiency? Any ideas?

Great white with brownish stuff on rootsHi guys,
I have been using 1/4 tea spoon great white powder on dwc. the first 2 days I get a lot of brown stuff on the roof, and 6th day it has dropped off but I still have them at the core. 1. should I wash them off every res change or leave it? & the brown stuff is normal

Root rot :(I believe I have a case of root rot. Pic attached. I just added Orca in the morning, and noticed orange foam and these roots literally hours later. Water was still under 70 from the res change sunday afternoon. Currently 68.
I rinsed in tap, they look a little better. ;(

Root rot in (re-used) coco?Medium: coco/perlite (65/35), 25L AirRap pots. Re-used from last grow after 2 months drying followed by rinsing all the cocodust away. There was still rootmaterial from last growth in there. Plants are droopy all the time, stunted grow, but no rotten egg smell. Is this root rot?

Is this root rot, could it be an excess of nutrients? How can I fix this from happening.I have some root issues, I recently upped the PPM in my tank, and since then my roots have started going very brown. PPM was at 900 when this issue appeared, so i reduced and is around 690 Ph is 5.8, - OUTDOOR DWC
