I know you speak about dry, but i use simple ice cubes, better buy crushed ice even ...
What i learned while trying :
Better use full mesh bags.

I eventually ended up with only two bags , 220 to clean, 25 micron to collect.
While using 5 or 7 bag sets, my favorite hash was from 50 mesh. But it takes time, so i just reduced to two and process goes way faster.
Why full mesh ? After a year or so, those with plastic sides start to peal off, i dont want plastic in my bubble.
Tried dry or wet trim, wet always taste better.
With wet trim better to keep it for 3-14 days in freezer. Keeping longer brings fridge smells, downgrades quality - hash after drying and curing becomes dusty, breaks , not holds form, reminds dry trim hash.
Material straight to bucket, dont ut bag into bag and so on, just material and ice. Create vortex, that hels to break trichs off, i do 2-3 min spins, let hand recover for 5 min and repeat. 40-60 min and you can go through filters. I was doing 3 waves for best extraction, each time changing water and adding fresh ice.
Cheap washing machine, not riffeled pipe out from alibaba and you have bubble wash machine not for 400, but for 50$ max.
Saw people use drill and head for plastering mix, but then too much of leaves particles goes into hash, becomes dusty too. So i stoped breaking material so heavily.
You need two buckets , one for mixing, then first filter into second, wash through and reuse first with next level of mesh.
Try to keep fresh buble in smaller crumbles, dryes out faste, some put again into freezer for 6 hours or so and then grade it into smaller bits for better drying.
