Too many leaves? and too big?

Hey Growmies, was just wondering if huge leaves like this is normal?? And can these giant fan leaves be taken off so that the new growth underneath gets light and start growing colas? 5 weeks old unknown strain under Led light 18/6

Hey Growmie ...
This is very normal for the fan leaves to get huge, and yes defoliation which is what you're referring too is actually used all the time by growers to help the lower buds sites get more light, help increase yields.

Yep I always cut away the big leafs when they get too large. Never had a problem with doing it. But I wounding in the last 4 weeks of flower to reduce stress on her.

Hi i know its early stages but the leaves on this plant are all twisted and bent out of shape. On top of this theres a white vein going through the middle of the leaves and the stem is generally very weak and nearly collapses with little air circulation. What should i do?Week 2
