Weiter entlauben?

Hallo Zusammen, Ich habe ständig das Bedürfnis weiter zu entlauben, weil mir die Pflanzen viel zu dicht vorkommen. Was meint ihr? Sollte ich die Pflänzchen einfach mal machen lassen, später nochmal zu einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt entlauben, oder fleißig aller paar Tage? (s. Report)

If it isn't causing condensation, do not remove any more leaves. Simple :P A bunch of overlappying leaves or leaves resting on the walls are things to avoid. Sometimes you can bend or shape the plant to avoid it or support it away from walls, etc. The last resort is to prune leaves. Leaves do many things beyond absorb light. Even if shielded, they are value-added. Storage, manufacturing building blocks, lungs, light absorption... leaves are important. The intake of CO2 is your limiting factor. Reduce leaves = reduction in growth potential - and that includes building flowers... all growth. Don't need intensie light to engage in transpiration. have a good reason to prune off a leaf. If you haven't overcrowded the canopy there should be very limited need to remove leaves at any point. Based on local environment, that plant 'wants' a certain number of leaves. if you deprive it of that need, it'll try to grow more -- this is why defoliation sometimes delays flower. if a plant has too many leaves relative to local environment provided, it will shed them. There is some sort of feedback mechanism in regard to this even if a plant doesn't have a CNS. Bottom line, the plant knows a hell of a lot better than us if it has too many leaves. You can defoliate is no problem, but don’t take to many leaves at once in the same day. Take a few then wait a few days to take some more until you are satisfied with the results then you can wait like 14-21 days again to let the plant bush up again then you can defoliate it again but with easy hand eaach time. In veg you can almost do whatever you want whenever you want. The best way to do it is to defoliate 5 days before flower, then 21 days into flower then wait 3/4 weeks again before doing the last defoliation before harvest. Good luck my dear friend 😃

Wonderful looking plants my friend. My advice is to trim any fan leaf that is way under the canopy and any leaf that is covering up a bud. I’ve had plants that continually grew massive fan leafs and it was a weekly thing trimming them. It looks like you could defiantly go in there and trim more. This will help with airflow throughout the plant and get more light penetration to lower bud sites. I hope this helps.

I would trust your gut. some plants get super bushy. My Pablo Escobar I'm growing right now i have trimmed leaves 3 times in flower and a few times before. Also being a big scrog plant, so if doing a smaller plat should need to trim as much as that. but i with would have defoliated again because shes still too crowded. I think the terms defoliation and flushing get a little misconstrued and it throws people off. and in our case may be scared to take too much off because of people that strip every leaf then other people say that defoliation is automatically bad, when no one should really ever be defoliating. It's just taking off what is necessary, but people have taken it too far and its become a thing. just like flushing..while it is good to stop adding nutrients last two weeks and only feed water. dumping 10 gallons of water in the soil t "flush" it is bs just like people who take off nearly every leaf and think its doing good. Check out my pablo ecsobar and you will see how much i removed. its quite a bit but not overboard. and they are big plants just lots of material.

Hello! The best answer is going to be dependent on your environment conditions. Can you control humidity well? And how is your airflow? If you can control humidity well and your airflow is good, then I would suggest removing the minor branches below the direct sunlight of the main canopy and keeping as many leaves as you can from the remainder. If your air flow is limited or control over humidity is not so good...as in large swings in Rh%...then I would suggest removing the minor branches below the direct sunlight of the main canopy. But then remove the leaves below the main canopy to improve airflow under your developing buds (lollipop the plant).
