if it was giving off too much light, you may get a hermie... hope it was a faint enough light not to cause a reaction in the plant.
You count from the day you turn to 12/12 light cycle. You can't see it, but it already switched inside. After that point you have 3-4, sometimes longer, weeks of vege growth remaining before it tapers off quickly. When you can see some preflowers, it' probably started 7-10 days ago, when you get those initial whispy terminals it's 12-14 days... You look just beyond that in this picture.
now, if these rough estimates seem too short, it's possible your plant didn't go into flower until you fixed the light. I hope that's the case, because nothing bad could happen due to that except a short delay. If it did flip even with the light being slightly on during dark period, that's a potential dumpster fire.
Photoperiods need an unintrrupted dark cycle. A hormone is produced in the dark. If it rises to a high enough level, it causes the plant to go into flower phase (hormonal feedback loop). Even a little bit of light is enough to fuck it up. Bruce Bugbee has a video on youtube that attempts to measure how much light is required to cause a response (herm or revege) in the plant. you canl ok it up for more specifcs.
respect the darkness in flower... it's not bro-science.
