Are they ready to be topped yet. I want to top them then start LST training. I have never done this before. What advice how I should do this.

It is a bit young to top them , early topping is after the 5th node and average is after the 7th. I suggest you to practice lst before topping , like start the bending when the plant can handle it to create a flat canopy and expose the secondaries to more light and couples days after practice toping to promote the secondaries growth

Yes. It can be topped. 4 to 5 nodes is plenty.

Topping early at the third node Hi. I have topped two plants above the third node but I don't intend to main-line them. They both had developed four mature nods. Was I too early to top and I cut at the wrong node? Can they develop enough branches to Scrog a 70x70cm grow? They kept growing after the topping

Topping In Tiny Places I’ve been topping my autos in a 3.8 sf stealth cabinet religiously at the 20ish day. In hydro that is around node 6-7. Would topping earlier giving the speed of growth that hydro provides, say at 3-4 node, make the plant less bushy and easier to manage? Ideas for tiny places?

Should I defoliate after topping with LST ?I just did my first topping and she took it very well, no signs of stress and actually growing really fast I think.
