Week#5FLO . Aptus nutrients 💪🏻

Day 72: The Finale 🌿🌟 It’s finally time. My very first grow is coming to an end—at least the cultivation phase. The plant is now ready for harvest, and I can’t believe how incredible this journey has been. I never expected to enjoy the whole process so much—from nurturing the plants to watching them grow and evolve. I’m absolutely hooked and can’t wait to dive into the next steps: harvesting, drying, curing, and of course, starting a new grow soon with fresh ideas and experiments! While it may not be the largest yield, the quality of the buds speaks for itself. The time, love, and care I’ve put into this grow is visible, and I’m pretty proud of the results. I’ll admit, I was a bit impatient at times (which I think every first-timer can relate to 😅), but the experience was priceless. Here are a few interesting highlights from my trimming and harvest process: 1️⃣ Dark Phase Before Harvest Two days before harvest, I put the plant in complete darkness to encourage resin production. I'm not sure if it really made a difference, but it was worth trying! 2️⃣ Wet Trim vs. Dry Trim I decided to go for a wet trim because the buds were really dense, and I wanted to avoid any risk of mold. I’ve read that wet trimming can speed up drying and may slightly impact the quality, but this is part of the learning experience. Next time, I’ll try a dry trim for comparison! 3️⃣ Yield Update Wet, the total came in at 179 grams from my plant. Trimming took around three hours, and it was actually a lot of fun, despite the time commitment. 4️⃣ Curing Plan The buds are now hanging in the tent for about 8 days. Once dried, they’ll go into jars with Boveda Packs (62% humidity) for another 3 weeks of curing. I'll update the smoke report once they’re fully cured, but I’ve already had a sample of the same strain from a friend, and I can say it’s pretty amazing. Final Thoughts on My Grow 🌱✨ As mentioned earlier, this grow has been an absolutely incredible experience, and it has definitely set me on a path to jump right into my next grow. There were ups and downs along the way, such as over-pruning, which I believe stressed the plants a bit. Additionally, I think they could have benefited from an extra week to mature. We also faced many temperature fluctuations this summer, which impacted the plants due to external weather conditions. I'm really pleased with the quality of the buds. The quantity is okay—I can’t fully gauge it yet—but I’m sure there’s more potential to unlock. I've gained valuable experience in what worked well and what didn’t. Overall, the countless lessons learned during this grow far outweigh the few mistakes made. I'm incredibly proud of my first results! Week 18 Day 120 | 08/11/2021: I just can’t stop looking at them, they are so plump 🍑 I watered them today with just 1L of plain water because I want to harvest them in 4 days and don’t want them to wilt, but at the same time I know it’s better to let the soil be on the dryer side when harvesting. Day 124 | 12/11/2021: Today the beauties are being harvested!!! So exciting because they’ve been growing for a while and I can’t wait to finally vape them. From day 1, no, even from germination, the seeds were so strong and quite resistant to nutrient deficiencies. Very good and strong genes, I’m really happy that I tried them out! I will be hanging them with the stem to dry for 10-14 days, I keep the leaves so that the humidity can stay high in the tent, I used to struggle a lot with humidity when I would hang them without leaves, and then the buds tasted like hay for the next month, so I try to avoid that now. Can’t wait to see that the total weight is! They are quite big but I think the buds are not extremely dense so it could be deceiving 👀

The plant responded very well to fim it is growing steady I wish I can leave her vegetating for another week but the other plants in my tent are growing at an incredible rate of speed so I have to rise this one in order to catch up with the rest canopy that's why I flip them to flowering schedule 12/12 I have been defoliatin in order to prepare them for maximum light penetration into the canopy for the flowering cycle . Well guys she had a deep flush of rain water put at least 100 ltrs through her till her ppm dropped to 100 gna hit her again in a couple days for a full deep flush till she runs at 37ppm I know drastic but I push them always to.the hilt to make sure there ain't a hint of chemical feed in sight shes starting to stick and fill out nicely after flushing probably cause she has to rely in her own supply for now but she never seemed to yellow out at all throughout any of her leaves sometimes they do sometimes they don't so I know there ain't any nutes in there so I'm not worried just dont want to overdo her want to take her just right not to much couch locking just a nice get on with the day kinda high is what I'm after so dont want her pushing for to long hopefully a week or two shall do the trick

Potevo ottenere molto di più sicuramente, ma questa volta ho deciso di impegnarmi poco, e si vede dai scarsi risultati rispetto alle altre volte, l'unico parametro rispettato grazie al timer sono le 12/12 ore buio luce, questa volta ho basato tutto sul basso consumo energetico, sicuramente la prossima volta avrò un miglior equilibrio. Final week before harvest. Pistils have turned brown all over on one plant, but not the other. Been trying to take close-ups of trichomes with phone, but can't tell if they are clear, milky or brown. Caved in and bought a hand-held microscope with light. Beautiful ❤️ just hard as heck to stay in focus doing hand held. Not sure if I should be clipping samples to look at on a flat surface. Stopped fertilizing and flushed the more mature plant last week. The other one is showing signs of ripeness now, so flushed it to early this week.

D78/F34 - 17/06/23 - I changed light schedule hoping she's going better. (6 only red ligh and 7 red-white) D79/F35 - 18/06/23 - New lights schedule is running D80/F36 - 19/06/23 - Added water and integrators EC 1.0 and pH 6.4 D81/F37 - 20/06/23 - Nothing to report D82/F38 - 21/06/23 - Added water and nutes EC 1.0 and pH 5.7 D83/F39 - 22/06/23 - Temp is too high for both water and environment. I see signals of suffering on the flowers (foxtailing) D84/F40 - 23/06/23 - I'm trying to keep the Tremp under control but isn't easy. To lowering water temp (that now is about 26 °C) I'm adding some ice to the water

8/17 Watered everything but the 50. Found two leaves with sep markings on the pink kish in the 50. Definitely not using old soil again. I'm pretty sure THIS plant contracted it from the soil and not the way the others did with the lawn mower and birdseed hijinx. It's supposed to rain for the first time basically all summer. It's am 80% chance so I HELD OFF ON PLANT DOCTOR AND DID NOT APPLY as I'm supposed to have a clear day after. I'll apply the plant doctor in the morning. I'm hoping this rain will knock down a bunch of those thrips. They seem to be on a small branch on a plant or two. One or two leaves show damage and I'll pick them off. I figure I'll get them after I apply plant doctor. I'll use either citric acid or just my regular bt-k pillar treatment with Castille or liquid soap. That will kill them as well. I'm on really worried about it. I also might just buy a bunch of lady bugs and unleash them once things get further along.

The Jamaican Lambsbread is ready for the chop... and just in time too! The powdery mildew is *just* about to cross the line. Next update is the harvest entry and the smoke report.

Morning Folks !! a very solid week in, girls look spot on. I can stand there for ages and just stare at them, I know many here share my feelings 😇 anyway... All girls have been flushed twice this week as normal with half strength nutes. Stopped PK 5 days ago. 1 Stardawg under trellis, is done producing by the looks of it and just cooking now. Other 2 stardawgs are yet to swell up a bit more. Bright Orange hair and trichomes makes bud appear golden 😍 BlueDream is swelling still constantly and smells incredible. though she is a bit moody but this cycle is dialed in well, so girls are happy , very happy. Bud feels chunky and heavy to touch. Each plant has its own unique smell profile I cant decide which one I like more. Girls loved the microbes and safe to say I'll be using that stuff in every grow. Its a deal maker imo. They are nearing end altogether and had been a great experience so far. Learned a lot. Wanna guess the outcome?? 😎 I m thinking 4 - 5 ounce off a girl more or less.... maybe... we'll see Enjoy pics and stay safe.

(Day 65) - From this point on the plants will be getting nothing but PH'd water and a weekly dose of Real Growers "Recharge". I know that this practice is controversial and that there have been studies that show no appreciable benefit of doing so however, I am at the very least saving on very expensive nutes and reducing the overall amount of nutes being consumed. I expect that Ghost Toof and Mephisto's Wedding will likely take 85 days to finish fully and a 20 day flush might seem extreme but these plants have been given an excess of nutes for a long time before I adjusted their feeding schedule. I believe this will make for a better product once dried and cured. We shall find out.

Cream Cookies looking great! Bud sites everywhere. The leaves are a little more yellowish than I prefer. Going to try backing down on the nutes and give her Recharge only for the next week or two to see if that helps green things up at all.

She grew 17cm this week. Over doubled her height. Lets see what she does in the next couple of weeks. I note she got a LOT bushier. Also her leaves are VERY broad and indica like for such a sativa strain! 😶
