NYC Diesel

Grew fine but was pretty small considering how long it was vegged for - super compact plant - that doesn’t mean that it didn’t put out a lot of bud though to be fair. As you can see I just spread her out and allowed the nodes on the top sides of the branch to grow upwards. It was actually pretty annoying, in terms of the fact it was so much shorter than the rest, I actually added another light simply so that it wasn’t shaded by the massive Tropicanna plant. I need to ditch my coco today really. Or at least some of it - a pack pack full. There are loads of flooded areas around here in woodland type areas that are PERFECT for dumping coco and roots! I actually didn’t take any photos of this plant being harvested but I’ll pull out the coat hanger and photograph it. To be honest, I don’t even really need to label them because they are all looking so different to one another!

let's say that I would have let it ripen for a few more days, but I have a rainy and very humid week ahead of me and the small dehumidifier can do nothing... a long flowering, let's hope it was worth it

The plant suffered a lot, just like her sisters. I interrupted the diary because sister Banana became a hermaphrodite in the box ☹️, I didn't want to move the plants too much so that Banana wouldn't pollinate them. All of the sisters had strange white leaf tips in the eighth week from seed, just like NYC Diesel. The pH of the soil and water was fine. The only thing I could think of was that I probably have old nutrients and it's not good for the plants. The harvest was therefore quite small, with weathered buds. In the end, I'm happy, there are no seeds in the flowers and that's important 👍💚

Nice fluffy stanky buds. Lime green and has a weird smell I can't diagnose.

super nice strain, grew tall and smelled dank, smoke is nice and ill grow this once again, just when the weathers warmer though so ill get better reslts

Got some nice colas from my mini sea of green dried weight was 16.34 grams next time will let veg longer just had throw in tent with other flowering plants

Firstly I wanted to thank my sponsors Sweet Seeds for sending me the seeds and providing me with much needed support during this grow. I greatly appreciated it. However, despite being sponsored and having seeds provided, the opinions that I give in this diary are 100% my own and not biased in any way. The seeds were also chosen by me from their catalogue. To surmise the grow: This has been a great plant to grow. She has responded to all my trainings well, and ended up with a great shape which created some Excellent juicy buds. She drank all the nutrients like a champ and this was evident in her growth. I kept her in a vegetative state for 16 weeks, which is a bit longer than I had intended to, but this has resulted in some very fat colas. This longer vegetative state was down to some spatial limitations in my house. I look forward to seeing how developed her root system was although I have not yet investigated the pot. Upon reaching the flowering stage, I was delighted to find that one of my colas had developed into a polyploid. I have since been informed that this is a very rare mutation and made the cola look like it has three tops as opposed to one. The colours also developed into beautiful ambers, yellows and greens. The buds themselves have all come out in different sizes, with some coming out fat and juicy, and some on the smaller side. They are all very sticky and full of resin, and touching them without gloves means very sticky fingers. Living in a warmer climate, one of the biggest challenges I face is drying time, humidity and heat. I dried them in a dark room, with 55% humidity and 22 degrees Celsius. These dried for 7 days before being placed into a metal container with Boveda humidity packs. I do have to have the A.C running 24-7, during the grow and drying process, since where I live has an average temp in the late 20s to early 30s. This then began the curing process. In order to properly assess the flavour profile, I have started to utilize a flavour wheel. My girlfriend and I differed on the smells. She could smell a sweet pine sensation, and I myself could smell mainly the sour hints with lemon and mint. I could also sense an earthy smell which felt like an unidentified cooking herb. Taste wise its a very smooth smoke. This could however also be down to the organic fertilizing, and the penultimate water only regime. When I smoke this strain, it gives me an uplifting and powerful sensation, which makes me feel energetic, ants in my pants feeling. This mixes very bad with coffee. Doing an awake and bake is a terrible idea. Following this up, a down follows which sucks me into the couch, and makes me want to play video games and watch movies. However I would not recommend to smoke this strain close to bedtime and I'm just too wired.

Wowo veramente un ceppo versatile e molto veloce da coltivare... Peccato ha avuto un piccolo attacco do insetti che però quando ho trasferito la pianta in outdoor, paradossalmente sono andati via....

Very relaxing strain, not too strong and not too weak, but with enough punch to keep most happy. Perfectly balanced and a "functional" effect, but probably more of an evening smoke rather than a morning smoke due to the super chilled out factor. Another nice all round strain.

Will report when dried and cured. This made some massive buds though.

Es muy fácil de cultivar, traga mucho fertilizante, por lo tanto es apta para principiantes. La fumada es buena, pega fuerte y sabor agradable, recomiendo bastante.

Muy fuertes sus efectos son 50/50 casi tripeado cogollos llenos de resina y el aroma frutal exquisito

Ice cool has been one of them legendary strains I've only heard about from friends and other growers. Pure diesel stank, laced with sweet orange overtones and a high that really makes you feel like your heads are literally in the clouds. Now I didn't get the orange pheno... I did however end up with a beautiful diesel/skunk pheno with a high that I absolutely cannot get enough of. This is such a positive smoke, leaving you with a pure feeling of euphoria, don't think I'll ever get bored of this!
