VEGETATION WEEK 3 (Oct 15-21) ------------------------------------------------------ ________ Oct 15 No water _______________ Oct 16 (0.5-1L) • 1.5 EC / 5.8 pH • 4" pots bone dry • 1 gallon bags are light, but not dry after 4 days • Transplanted last 3 plants to 1 gallon bags ____________ Oct 17 (1L) Mix: 4ml CaMg, 4 ml A, 4ml B, 4ml B52, 5ml PB Tea : 4L water = 1.6 EC (+750ml = 1.5 EC/6.0 pH) 10P6 IN: 1.5 EC/6.0 pH (19c) OUT: 1.9 EC/5.4 pH (19c) ✅ 10P7 IN: 1.5 EC/6.0 pH (19c) OUT: 1.6 EC/5.5 pH (18c) ✅ BD4 IN: 1.5 EC/6.0 pH (19c) OUT: 1.7 EC/5.4 pH (19c) ✅ Runoffs looking good so far. No signs of yellow tips so we push on. I want to be around 1.7 EC by the end of the week. Should easily get to 2.0 EC by week 5 at this rate. pH looks a bit low so the next watering will be a heavy one. I'll likely put at least 2L through each 1 gallon bag to boost the pH back into the 5.8 range. I'll be happy to switch my focus back to these when I chop everything in the bloom room. Need to do a deep clean of the veg room and move my hygrometer in to monitor the VPD. __________ Oct 18 • No water ______________ Oct 19 (1.5L) Mix: 10ml CaMg, 6ml A, 6ml B, 6ml B52, 10ml PB Tea : 8L = 1.6 EC / 6.0 pH 10P6 IN: 1.6 EC/6.0 pH (20c) OUT: 1.7 EC/5.5 pH (18c) ✅ 10P7 IN: 1.6 EC/6.0 pH (20c) OUT: 1.7 EC/5.5 pH (18c) ✅ BD4 IN: 1.6 EC/6.0 pH (20c) OUT: 1.7 EC/5.5 pH (19c) ✅ • Topped both 10ths Didn't get the pH boost I thought I would, but they're all the same, and they all look great. 2/3 were ready for topping (4th node) but the BD4 has the tightest nodes...can't get scissors in there yet. Runoff pH is under 5.5 (5.3) so for the next fertigation I'll raise the pH to 6.5 and drench them. Might be the beginning of over fertilizing, usually I see plummetting pH when the plants aren't feeding. I'll use a Silica and CaMg solution, as they both absorb at +6.0 pH. _________ Oct 21 • No water
