VEGETATION WEEK 6 (Nov 5-11) ------------------------------------------------ ___________ Nov 5 AM • Clocks back one hour • H202 treatment on all (1-1.5L each @ 4:1) 🌡️- 77.2F ✅ ❄️ - 71.6F ✅ 🌧️ - 65.3% ✅ ☁️ - 45.9% ❌ 📈 - 1.66 kPa ❌ 📉 - 0.94 kPa ✅ 📊 - 1.36 kPa ⬇️ Still struggling with low humidity during lights on. Got a bunch of 5 gallon pails in there to try to boost it. Probably won't be as bad after I transplant to larger containers but these 1 gallons dry out fast. I've got most plants topped twice now and the larger bottom fans removed. I'll let them go for the week to recover. After these dry out from the latest H202 treatment, they'll get the full feed at 2.0 EC. Haven't spotted any gnats since the move to the main room but that usually means eggs are about to hatch. I drenched them all to the point of runoff so I'm really hoping this is the last time. It's a lot easier to treat in smaller containers so I'm a bit hesitant to pot up until I know they're gone. ___________ Nov 6 AM • 1L each @ 1.5 EC/6.2 pH • 1x fungus gnat killed • 1x dead fungus gnat in the water bucket (w/ mosquito dunks) • Topping on some secondary branches • Removed some lower inside leaves and growth tips • 1x fungus gnat on the floor (PM) ___________ Nov 7 • No water • No gnats ___________ Nov 8 Mix: 8ml Silica, 12ml CaMg: 4L water = 1.5 EC • 1L @ 1.5 EC/6.2 pH (KTs & BD4) • No gnats Couple of days without spotting any gnats but I'm going to treat them again with H202 before transplanting just to make sure. ___________ Nov 9 • 1L @ 2.0 EC/5.8 pH (10Ps & BD5) • No gnats AM • Prepped new coco for transplanting ___________ Nov 10 * 1L @ 2.0 EC / 5.9 pH (KTs & BD4) * Better humidity (55%) during lights on * Filled 5 gallon bags * Transplanted 10Ps Spoke too soon. Found 2 gnats buzzing around the substrate of KT4. Killed one, couldn't find the other. So annoying. __________ Nov 11 🌡️- 77F ✅ ❄️ - 67.1 ⬆️ 🌧️ - 63.7% ✅ ☁️ - 54.7% ✅ 📈 - 1.38 kPa ⬇️ 📉 - 0.94 kPa ✅ 📊 - 1.20 kPa ✅ * Transplanted BD4 I'm knocking almost all the substrate off the roots when I'm transplanting so hopefully any gnat eggs will go with it. I need to wait at least 7 days between H202 treatments. Didn't see any this morning but now there's going to be more and more 5 gallon bags as the 1 gallons dry out in there so the moisture levels are going to stay higher for longer going forward. All the ETHOS plants look great, one of the BDs has a slight N deficiency but that's not a big deal. The KTs did not like the topping and they're still pretty small. The goal is to get the rest transplanted to 5 gallons ASAP and let them grow for another 2 weeks, then take my cuts. Will do the lower 1/3 clean up before flipping to bloom. Going for big plants this time.
