11/23 - Day 51 - Back from out of town and as you can see the plants have re-foliated quite a bit since their haircut 6 days ago. They've also stretched 4 more inches and the light is now only 16' away from the plants with no noticeable signs of light burn. The soil is bone dry but only a few leaves are showing signs of thirst. The leaf stems are still pointing upwards, and only the tips of the fan leaves are are drooping. Pinky and Blanche are both developing buds with many white pistils. It appears Bleu (the biggest of the three plants) is at least a week behind the others. Feeding 4 L of water per plant with a slightly higher dosage of nutrients. 1 ml/L of cal-mag, micro, grow, and Bloom. 1/2 tsp of MKP added to all 12 L of nutrient solution. 1/2 tsp of Recharge per plant (4L). 11/26 - Day 54 - 4L of water per plant with 1 tbsp of molasses and 1/2 tsp of recharge. Considering there was no runoff it appears they're drinking more and drying out fast enough to take water every 3 days at this point. 11/27 - Day 55 - Bleu is still stretching and two of the tops had reached within 12 inches of the light. I was concerned about light burn so I bent and tied them down. 11/28 - Day 56 - Last day of week 8 and it's really interesting to observe the differences between Big Bleu and the smaller plants (Pinky & Blanche). Looking at the pictures from previous weeks Bleu appears to be ~14-15 days behind in her maturation process. The soil in Bleu's pot is almost ready for some more water, while the other two pots are still quite moist. I will feed all 3 tomorrow, but I may need to split Bleu's feed-water schedule because of how much more water she is drinking. Really looking forward to what unfolds next week!

I’m running a viparspectra 600W reflector series LED 30 inches above these seedlings with only the veg lights turned on. The seeds went in the water 14 days ago and my question is: when should I turn on the bloom lights as well?

If you want tight internodes and keep her short and squat. Use the veg switch only. But if you want more vigorous growth with a little stretch I recommend using both switches. And if you pick option one you can keep veg switch on till week 3 of flower then turn both switches on. This will keep those internodes tight set you up with some nice dense bud.

Nute Burn Plan. Lower light to 24 inches and turn on bloom switch. Flush soil with 8 litres of water (PH 6.5) per pot. Questions: will increasing the intensity of light increase plants ability to absorb nutrients, or simply stress them more? Is 8L water/ 10L pot enough to flush?

@MediciGrade Dont lower your lights as the extra heat will only add to the stress of a nutrient toxicity. Do your plain water flush until the runoff ppm is back to wherever it was before you overfed.

Bleu (largest of the 3 plants) is ~14 days behind the other 2. Is such a variance in size & rate of maturation common when growing from seed? Does LST/HST amplify the differences between phenotypes? She's so tall I'm worried about light stress. Should I reduce the light schedule?

Reduce the light and you will reduce your yield. LST and hst will amplify nothing , it will keep them shorter and will allow you to build a shape but will not reduce the way they are growing , a tall plant remains tall and a short plant remains short , you can manage the height and size but that's all. From seed you have different type of shape , smell and colours due to the multiples phenotypes available, you make your selection to keep a clone and maybe creating a clone only strain ( I am calling it a clone only phenotype , a strain is not a cutting )

Brown spots and yellowing pictured above. My best guess is a Cal/Mag deficiency. Was feeding Botanicare Cal-Mag Plus at 1 ml/l up until ~2 weeks ago (friend has been watering while I was out of town). Before I feed her, any advice on what the problem is and how to correct it?

I think this is down to the pH being slightly low, try to increase it to 6.5 and flush as budx says. It could be pests so check under the leaves very closely for any evidence... I hope its the first issue. 🌱😁

Flushing in fabric pots is not to easy, because tey keep everything very well inside. because of theis you will have to let them dry ( bottom area) before you get them back in the box. I put my plants for a nicht on a grid lot let them drip out

@Mrs_Larimar, Great point! I hadn't thought about that. I'll have to figure out a way to elevate them from their saucers and direct airflow underneath the pots.

10L of plain water in a 10L pot, is enough if the soil isn’t too dry. Just make sure there’s about 7L to 8L from the drain. Water should be clear and clean at the end of flushing.
