'Do Si Dos' by i49

Welcome to Week 7, Bloom w/ the Hobbit House (Do-Si_Dos). The deets: The Good: -DSD had another solid week, no complaints at all. -She is still stacking cola's like crazy and she's not done yet. I'm excited to see her continue her swell and I feel her final form/product will be a great smoke. -Picking up even more caryo as she goes along. She's helping the NL's take over the tent with pepper and hops. Great smell. -She is the last to show her pistils brown and I'm happy to see signs that she is indeed starting to wrap up and will be ready for the chop in no time. The Bad: -No real bad with DSD this week. Pulled some odd RO numbers, but there isn't anything out of order. The 'Meh': -Her pH dropped again. She's done this a few times, even if I haven't changed anything. I'm starting to feel like this is where she's most comfortable and why she keeps reverting back to these levels. RO being pulled is roughly 5.8pH and 950 PPM. There is no issue top side, but it is interesting that she keeps moving back to these slightly acidic soil levels. It is what it is👌 -Still looking to defo her a tiny bit this week, but as mentioned in previous entries, she's so tight and all her fans seem very important. I'm reluctant to take anything, but these fans are blocking other tops from light and air... It's a catch 22. Take em' and encourage the lower tops or keep them and have them focus on it's mains. Notes of the week: -Both NL #2 and Blue Cookies are both getting top heavy and I'm working to keep them in shape and away from one another. I'm having an easier time moving them, at least. Grow number one, at this point and time, were already strung up with plant yoyos because they couldn't hold their new weight. I couldn't move them because of this and it was a pain. Happy I don't have to do that again. Yoyos were great! and served their purpose when I really, really needed them. But with the changes and stronger plants, I don't need them! This a good thing👍 -Ocimene is out as the dominant terpene in the tent (Blue Cookies) and Caryo has officially taken over now. Tent is niiiice and pungent with a thick peppery aroma. Fun watching them compete for dominance, haha. -From the new trich pics, it looks like the breeders notes are going to line up quite well. The NL's are wrapping up and I can see them ready for the chop around March 12th (8ish weeks Bloom). DSD and BC are looking like they're at the same pace and should be wrapping up around March 20th-ish (9-10 weeks). -Set up drying tent and she's ready to go. Moved the little tent right by the big girl and jury rigged all my equipment through splitters and timers. Did a test run with x2, 1 foot tower fans and two computer fans w/ makeshift hangers and tea towels to maintain a decent and constant RH. During the test, the unit held about 18-19 degree Celsius and 50% RH. Pretty much what I was looking for. -Trying to get better pictures of the plants without the obnoxious flash of my camera blurring all the trichs and colors. I feel these are a little better...but I still have some work to do and maybe pick up some decent, used lighting equipment to achieve the results I'm looking for. I love so many of the pictures on here. The extra effort really makes them pop and I'd like to try to do the same with the tips I've been receiving from other users. Some of you folks are an absolute inspiration and I appreciate the extra time you put into your photography👍 (I still suck at trich pics...I don't think that's going to get better any time soon, ha) Thanks a bundle for your attention and for stopping by!
