I think my Auto plants are slow. Tried to fix the temperature and humidity (28°C - 50%) but still a bit high temperature. Is that normal? How can I speed things up a bit? Should I start cropping at the seccond nod?

temperatures and humidity are fine. The problem is that the plants are too far from the light source, you need to get them closer; on the other hand be careful not to burn the plants, but 120 cm is way to far, try half or even a third of that distance. You might want to consider using anotehr type of light for seedling stage. I recommend taking a look into Screw in LEDS, like I do, you will use much less watts the first few weeks and the temperatures will be much lower, allowing you to place you seedligns much closer.

Hi @rusga! Seedlings are stretching because they're searching for more light, you must decrease your plant<--->light distance to stop them from stretching. More light efficiency = stronger plants + more nodes + more side stems. Be careful however, your babies might suffer from light-stress or heat-stress if the light is too close. Now, I won't recommend any manipulation/surgery until they have become taller/stronger/healthier, give them a few days to recover after your setup adjustments. Hope this will help, keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊

hey man had the same issues stretch plus growing slow, its the light man, 400W is too much for the lil plants with hardly any leaves. You want a dimmer on that ideally, you can throw it onto 400 end of the third or fourth week, then onto 600W in flower. hope this helps ! 🚀 !

Hello @rusga ! Your plants are indeed a little small . Temperature is not a problem. Plants at this stage like to be little warm. You have a problem with the RH not a big one though. Your real problem and the reason for small size and leggy looking plants is your lamp. Place the lamp closer to the plant at around 60-80 cm and monitor the temperature ( do not exceed 28 °C ) . Definitely do not do not perform any super cropping technique. Wait until 4-5 nodes and until the main stem gets a little harder. Happy growing ! 👊

First thing i see is a kinny stretchy plant, looking like 10 days old.Your Girls having suboptimal conditions. Like you say very warm, and lack of light. But nothing is lost until now. Youve done a few things very good. You gave the girls after germination a big pot with a fluffy (lookin) soil. thats what they love. You can fill up the pots with much more soil to stabilise the Girls. A fan and a good airmove can fatten their stems too. Maybe think about a 100 watt extra led light , so they dont have to stretch so much for the light. Led can be quite close to the Girls . And nooooo pls dont top or crop them in their condition.... wait for 2 more weeks then you can do some LST the recommend very well in this. Read some diaries and look what other growers do with automatic plants. Happy growing
