Hey You can start doing LST whenever you're ready, it can handle gentle tying at this young age or you could wait for it to get a little taller. But definitely do it while the plant is still flexible and able to bend, versus waiting too long and the stems get all woody and stiff. With the topping you want several sets of true leaves before you begin, typically between 5-7 sets. So it looks like you need at least another 3 sets to open up. But the lst you could do now if you want that since smooth bend. Happy growing ✌️

Wait until she's at least double that size and tall enough to benefit from some bending over. Who doesn't like bending their girl over? I prefer this to topping and you can get very similar results and yield without cutting anything off. 👍🌱

You can top when your plant hits about 5 nodes.. if your planning on only lst then this is also a good time to start. I personally top down to the third node and start lst the growth out. Hope this helps! Happy Growing. 👊

Lower leaves too pale or yellowing?I am noticing the lower leaves of my Royal Critical Automatic to be much more pale green than the top of the plant. What should I do with my plants that have grown thicc to receive more light? - First Grow My plants (1 auto, 1 photo) have grown a lot and are now pretty thicc. Should I remove some leaves to allow more light directly on the new growths from the nodes? More agressive LST? Leave them alone? They have grown in a weird pattern because of my LST attempts (see pic).

Will this tape repair a broken stem?Should I re-wrap this broken stem? Bent with too much pressure and there was a snap, though not completely severed. I applied two or three layers of duct tape, not sure if the constant pull of ties will allow it to heal and repair. When should I take the tape off?
