secondary branches stretch during flowering

I've been growing Moby Dick using a mainlining technique. During the stretch phase, some secondary branches have grown a lot and are not close to the main stem anymore. Should I keep them? Should I cut? Will they help making big, fat colas?

Hello Go through the whole plant thoroughly and any that are really not getting the best light remove. But if you have a few secondary that are getting good strong light...id say keep them. They may just be smaller dense buds off the lower side of your biggest colas but would still give you some great buds. And then you'll have some branches to compare against, whether keeping the secondary shoots helps or harms.👍

I suggest lollipopping your plants to maximize the footprint of your light onto the canopy. I usually trim the bottom 1/3 of the plant. Check out my latest grow if you're curious. I don't know how deep your light can penetrate; those secondary branches have potential to become chunky so long as they have good exposure to light but keep in mind they won't be as big as the tops.
