Hey there @bigguccigrower : what regulates the plants metabolism and how fast it grows is called the vapour pressure defict or VPD for short. This article presents the concept in detail : https://www.autoflower.net/forums/threads/vpd-vapor-pressure-deficit-explained.64510/ this one has the charts . Basically you want to hit the right ratio of humidity and temperature , what you can do to make that happen at this stage is to put a clear plastic cup over the seedling so it traps the humidity inside and helps the seedling grow. As the seedling develops you can remove the cup and lower the temperature... Hope this helps ! 🚀

I dont think the plant is slow, its regular for week 1. but the light is to poor/ far away fot the plant. you can dig her deeper or put soil around the stem. because leaves getting heavy for the tiny stem. lower the lights give her some airflow to fatten up the stem

@BigGucciGrower Your seedling has started stretch for more light. If you are able to increase your light strength or move it close I would do so. I think the largest cause for the slow growth is from low Humidity. If you look at the leaf edges there are 'sharp' and pointed up. This is most likely being cause by that heater you have pointed at the seedling. Even if its a large distance away a heater should always be pointed indirectly towards the seedling. I wouldn't worry about comparing your speed with others only 1 week in because every strain is different in these early stages. Look for comparisons at the end of week 2 at the least. Just get that humidity higher with a Humidity dome(plastic bottle put overtop seedling) or humidifier and you will see better growth. I hope that helps 😎

Heyo! So...temperature, maybe lighting (I personally think plants enjoy a little sleep time, even 2 hours, 22/2 instead of 24/0), but also is this the plant that stopped germing from you messing with it? I see you mentioned that in your comment this week. If so sometimes tampering with the root when you're germinating can cause some serious slow down or even just down right death of the seedling. Hows your humidity? If you can swamp it up in there maybe place a plastic cup over it or similar to trap some moisture...mist the inside of the cup. Happy growing good luck with the plant. ✌️

Several reasons: 1. Your seedling looks stretchy, which means the light is not strong enough, you might want to consider using a couple of LED bulbs (2 10 watts screw in LED bulbs will work like a cham for 1 seedling) it's the same power as the t5, but the light will be more focused; 2. When the temperatures are below 23°C (73°F) the growth rate slows down to a crawl (yours are 20°C or 68°F); 3. Since your pot is too big for your plant as it is, you are most likely over watering. Any one of this issues, makes the growth slow, all three...

You're plant is growing slowly because your light is too far away from it . I can tell this because your plant is stretching up to reach the light that it needs . You can do 2 things to fix this . You can either raise you're pot closer to the light or you can lower your light down more twoards the plant in order to give it the photons it needs . You're plant may also grow slowly because it's in a big pot so you plant is spreading roots like crazy . Usually people will start them in a solo cup or something of that size then transplant them into a bigger pot like you have now . I hope this information is helpful to you on your quest of making kick ass medicine . Happy growing!
