Hi Folks.πŸ’¨βœŒοΈ I would like to ask question about CalMag. Are we using CalMag up till we harvesting or we can stop using CalMag already, for example, in middle blooming cycle? If not, then how much it is normal dosage in blooming period and how often CalMag is suggested to use? Many thanks and happy growing!πŸ’¨πŸ™‚

In soil with tap water and nutrients I guess you can stop adding cal mag as the nutrients and the tap water already contain enough for a soil grow πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

Hi i got a question too. are you feeding 49ml per Liter=? or is is a writing mistake.?......................................................................................................................... That would be 10 times as much as recommended.Ok back to your Question. Yes you can use calmag during the whole cycle. BUUUT most calmag products caontain Nitrogen too. if you dont give more than 2 ml per l it should be ok

How much is needed? 0.5 EC /250 PPM and if it's a seedling half that amount (assuming that your water is RO water or close to it). You need it for the whole grow, although after the stretch, when the plant is forming buds, you could switch to epsom salts, which is magnesium plus sulfur (actually switching to epsom salts is the ideal)

Cal-mag seems to be one of those much used supplements by kost growers here, especially if you'reusing RO water. I think maintaining it up until fairly close to harvest is a good idea but in small doses. Unfortunately too much calcium can lockout some other nutrients like potassium which is crucial to flowering. Then similarly too much phosphorus can lockout the calcium. It's such a delicate system it's exhausting sometimes. But with the cal-mag I'd say keep it up just low and maybe once or twice a week unless you see it needs more. Happy flowering. ✌️

Hi markush ! Call mag is important even during bloom especially the mag part during late bloom . During veg cal mag is used during the veg stretch, during the flower stretch cal and mag are very important . Simply put, cal mag is really important. Even for soil grows most soil will not have enough magnesium for a healthy plant. So during veg and early flower it's better to have cal mag in a foliar spray - uptake is 90%+ efficient via the leaves , but to avoid bud rot problems during flower you can add it to the feed even though cal mag uptake is only 15% efficient through the roots. Anyway I suggest you continue with cal mag until the end . Hope this helps ! πŸš€
