Has anyone ever heard of a strain that gets stuck on Cloudy Trichs? I'm just a few days past the proposed harvest date yet, 1 & 1/2 weeks ago I noticed 10% Trichs turned amber but, all the rest seem stuck on cloudy. 95% of the pistols have turned red, fan leaves are dying/dead

hey R_Owl , yeah I even had one that stayed stuck on cloudy trichs lol, really frustrating, but I'll tell you something, it's actually a good thing. Cloudy means the triches are filled with THC so 100% cloudy means that it's 100% max THC potency. amber trichs means they oxidised and produce CBN or CBD even which is not necessarily a bad thing, depends on taste. So when mine was all cloudy i left it a few more weeks then took it down, and after the cure it ended up being one of the stronger strains i harvested. Different strains rippen differently, maybe you just got one of the stronger phenos, so don't worry look at it like it's a good thing.

I agree in you assessment to Be able to harvest around Week 12. All she needs now is time. Buds are maturating. She got 24 degree , thats nice , you feed with molases, good idea, Just give her TIME.......... and from the point having milky trichomes is nothing you can do wrong. Sometimes changes come " overnight" and some strains need longer to maturate.i wont hang on any number, because thats nature and you cant calculate that like a product . She will show you up if shes ready... I wish you a underrated ingredient for growing..... PATIENCE.. happy Growing

She wont stay stuck , she's still maturing :) this means you still have time for the growth of your flowers id say 1-2 weeks :) sometimes it seems like they are stuck in a certain stage of growth or development but they arent trichomes can change very quickly over night even , so i would check daily or every couple of days till you reach the desired amber% you want . Just remember tho letting it go to long will decrease the potency so always pay attention to the trichomes :) . I hope this information helps you understand that your plant is ok and that she's just developing still :) -Happy Growing!
