Depends on what bug really.
"Homestead and Chill" have a few recipes for cannabis specific and organic bug sprays.
Also plenty of other organic tips and tricks, like compost teas.
Just type in "bug spray" on their home page, hit enter, and like magic -- answers!
I too would never use neem, in fact, in my country, it is illegal to use neem on any plant intended for human consumption!
If you are interested in organics, often it is better to not do anything, predator bugs will find the "problem" bugs soon enough and make the "problem" bugs disappear within 7-10 days. Having a complete ecosystem in your yard is better than removing one pest to only then be replaced by another pest. Having a healthy population of predator bugs is far more eco friendly and sustainable. Unless you have great swarms of "problem" bugs, there really any reason to do much other than monitor the situation. Once you start spraying for one thing, this opens the door to the next bug, then you spray for that one then.. then.. then....
Also, I would never spray anything on any plant in flower, the plants may look bad, but I am not going to smoke anything other than buds, no matter how natural any spray may seem !!
Hope this helps,.........
