Hi @indacouch! A lamp pulling 615 watts from the wall is a 615 watts lamp, no "equivalent" or "efficiency" here, only raw wattage matters, everything else is a lie. You should look for "QuantumBoards", these panels rely on Samsung mid power LED (lm561c or even better lm301b) which are the new big thing in the growing industry. These are probably the most effective grow lights onto the market nowadays. Growers with good coverage usually get more than 1g/w. The drivers are dimmable, so you can control your light power (and your electricity bill). They're usually dimmed at 25-50% during veg stage and 75-100% during flowering stage, depending on the driver's power capacity and the size of the board(s). If you cannot afford the official QuantumBoard from HLG, you can try to go DIY, many companies are selling the same boards they use at HLG. I got my boards from "InvisibleSunLed". Hope this will help, keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊

That is a good amount of light! 👊 Be careful when switching to that light because it is extremely easy to burn your plants with LED. Start the lights a little higher than you think you should have them (Suggest 22-26" to start) and watch how the plant responds and move your light closer from there. Plan for an increase in temperature in your tent as well. happy growing! 👊 There is no premium account.

I am a big fan of LEDs in general, and am currently very happy growing with a quantum board LED. The diodes are spread out for good light penetration, it's very bright per watt, and it uses a spectrum of white light very close to that of the sunlight. Quantum boards tend to have very high lumens per watt which is good too. Horticultural lighting group makes professional lights with no gimmicks, and you can get great growth with as little as 100 watts in a modest space.

No such thing as premium accounts. Lights that advertise things like 1.000 watts (only pulls 140 watts) go instantly into crap category for me. A watt is a watt, check stuff like Lumen per watts, umol per watts, etc. Serious grow light manufacterers will advertise that kind of info.
