I did get this from time to time. I tried various different methods etc but the best thing iv found is shogun zenzym (I think that's the right spellin) Breaks down the old roots etc feeding them back to the plant an preventing any kind of lock out or major neut deficiency. Used it for 3 runs now an no issue's Well I think mine look healthier for it. Best of luck with the grow 👍🏼

They ate from 1.1 to 0.8 every week in the last couple of weeks. It's this last water change that they increased the EC. And it was even lower at 1.0. I added calmag the second waterchange of the grow to try to combat the problems with the lower leafs. Now I stopped and it has gotten worse. Now even the top leafs have burned tips. But you still recommend to leave the calmag out?

Here is a feeding schedule for hydroponics. First signs of life if autos 200 ppm 0.4 ec. If photos 400 ppm 0.8 ec. If you seem good growth the end of the first week then increase by 100 ppm 0.2 ec. At the end of that week if good growth then increase another 100 ppm 0.2 ec. Do this every week until you reach 600 to 650 ppm for autos and photos can go up to 800 to 900 ppm. If your adding cal/mg then your nitrogen levels could be getting too high. Only use if you see they need it. In flower they may not need any now. If your slowed growth now, then lower your blood feed to 600 if their photos and 400 if their autos, until your new growth starts coming good. Less is always best. They don't need much food. Excess always does harm. Best to increase because of deficiencies then have to fix because of toxicity. Ph for veg cycle is 5.8 and for flower 6.2 and 6.3. Best to keep as close as possible to these values

Problem is I’ve been having dark green leafs (all of them) and burned tips/edges, yellowing parts that die on the lowest growth, from the beginning. I added calmag beside what’s in the GH 3part. Problem continued. When I took of damaged leafs. New leafs started (mobile nutrient). I’ve always given less N then recommended. Dark leafs kept comming. Now they don’t grow any more new leafs since I’m in week 4 of flower. Last water change I left out the calmag because I thought that didn’t fix the burned tips, etc. And it had N in it (dark leafs = N tox). I left calmag out and only gave 3part and pro-bloom (first time using). And now the burned tips and edges, etc have gotten worse, and moved up the plant! And then the EC increased at the same time…

As green thumb says. Look at it this way. If the ec is rising, their drinking more water which will actually decrease your ph usually and if they take more nutrients your ph will rise. Always prepare water before hand (24 hrs) to settle the the rising ph. Then mix your nutrients. If the ec was rising, then mix less nutrients into your rez next change. If they start using up the ec and you see it lowering and the ph rising, then a little more food next change. Once you get it where the ph and ec stay relatively stable, you will have dialed in your water grow.

Add fresh water daily generally I found if my e.c was rising if was because the plants drank more water then fertilizer which made the solution more concentrated. As you add fresh water the e.c will drop. I found as long as I did my changes every seven days or so everything stayed in check. Cheers 🍻

Thanks for confirming what I thought. Still don’t know why my EC rises tho. It went from 1.0 to 1.2 in 3 days. Then I changed the water again to be sure and then it got from 0.9 to 1.2 in just 1 day! I did let the water at its highest point in the RDWC because I shutted it off from the tank to make new solution.

They are fine. The slight brown colour will be stains from your nutes not root rot.
