Should I defoliate ?

Hello ! First grow here. I'm growing in a tiny space and was wondering if defoliating would be a good idea. Plant is ~4 weeks old from sprout and kinda small i height. If so, isn't it too soon to do it ? Which leaves should I cut first to maximize light & airflow ?

Yes, i would trimm them and would start LST. Check out my diary, i just trimmed and make a topping.

The leaves are the solar panels of the plants, they feed the buds. In my opinion, defoliation is a big mistake. Never touch a leaf. Just prune the lower branches. You'll have incredible results. Everything is going perfectly.

Maybe thin a few of lower leaves to promote air flow to prevent mold issues but no more than 10-20% take anything that looks like a burden for the plant to repair just a little clean up keep it tidy

Autos don’t like being stressed. Topping is already a real big deal for her (may explain why she’s a bit small). You’d better wait for 2nd or 3rd week of flowering to defoliate a bit, when she’ll be strong enough to go trough it.

My grow tent is about 2 1/4 feet x 4 x 6 ft . I use an inline exhaust fan on a cycle timer. 400 watt . I have HEPA filters mounted on the little windows for clean passive air- no intake fan.
To keep the RH up and temp down can anyone recommend a cycle time for the exhaust fan?Week 5

How to lollipop?Started lollipopping this week but did not remove all leaves up to the trellis because I was worried amount plant stretch and shock. Should I keep the leaves at the current level (about 2-3” below trellis), or cut it all off? Should I wait until flower or do it in veg if so?
