I've got some handymen coming over to fix things around my apartment in a couple of weeks time. The closet lights I ordered won't arrive until after they've gone. I was wondering, how long can I leave the plant without light? Ideally, they'll be without it for at least 36 hours.

36 hours without light will be too long. It will stretch and cause problems. If you can get a cheap bulb to hide it somewhere then that would be a lot better. I start my seedlings on a 23w cfl daylight bulb. You can get a 4 pack for like $10 at home improvement stores. I will post a link below to the lights I use. Hope that helps

Northern Lights Auto, quite short and bushy, fan leaves shielding light - should I defoliate?First time grower with a quite short Northern Lights Auto in week 6. The fan leaves seem to shield a lot of light from the inner leaves, also touching ground. Should I trim the fan leaves?
