Struggling to keep humidity down given the crazy weather here. Cannot move these inside where there is AC they need to live in my semi open air basement. How much will the higher humidity impact bud growth?

It won't, but it will raise the risk of moulds and fungus. Best thing to do is get plenty of air circulation, maybe buying a couple of oscillating fans would be the best defense against any potential problems. Cannabis is a tough and resilient plant that has survived for Millenia un-aided, it is not a dainty, weak or temperamental plant that will die or do strange things if everything is not perfect. Your plants will be fine in the high humidity, but mould could be your biggest enemy, especially in stagnant air. Hope this helps, Organoman.

Growth does not care about high humidity. The problem is the mold that can quickly form between the buds. Either dehumidifier or try to increase the temperature in the tent. This reduces the relative humidity. This is how I manage to keep the humidity low in my basement.

I have a dehumidifier running already. Only a small one though. I have an oscillating fan circulating air and also an intake fan pumping air in. Exhaust fan up top sucking it out.

High humidity will mold your buds when you get close to harvest. I run a dehumidifier the last few weeks of flower to prevent this. It's a necessary tool if you fight humidity in late flower.

Not too much if its only temp weather...and if its 60% or less then it wont affect growth much at all, but the risk of mold will be quite a bit higher, get a fan, air flow is the best defense against humidity...even if its 70% humidity if the air is moving fast enough then mold wont be an issue, its when there is still moist air that you get issues fast. If you have a fan turn the speed up. Even if plants are gently swaying in the breeze, its fine. Better that than mold right? Air flow will be your weapon here to fight humidity if you cant run AC. Move that air and you will be ok.

Check out VPD charts, if you aren’t familiar. 50-60 rH isn’t that big of a deal in flowering depending on ambient temps. Just have to keep an eye out for WPM and other issues.
