Hard wind almost broke totally apex cause of a heavy LST, fixed it with some tape and removed it after a week. Is that real bad or something bad could happen ? 😬

Hi @KorsR! Well, these things happen. You've experienced one of the downsides of LST, pine-shaped plants in their natural design are much more resistant to excessive winds. You should have soaked the broken parts with aloe vera or rooting hormones to speed up the suture. I would have left the tape more than a week, at least 10-12 days. You can still help that stem with a bamboo stick to support the weight and prevent further accidents to happen. In case of a full recovery, that stem will be able to produce buds, but the whole process of flowering will be delayed by a few weeks, so be patient and keep up the good cares! Keep us updated, happy growing 👊

hey there KorsR, actually as long as the stem heals only good things will come of it. 1. The plant thinking the top's been snapped off will "not notice" that it's still there and it will get larger as a result 2. the plant thinks it's under attack and responds by producing trichomes so actually the plant gets more potent. Only good things will come of this growmie. Hope this helps ! 🚀

I know this feeling. But u don't have to worry plant will heal itself. I would put tape back till she is healed 100%. The only draw back is you are growing an auto plant so the extra hst in flowering then broke a branch you will be lowering your healed to what she could have produced if she was 100% healthy. Just give her tlc from now till harvest no more training and you can still produce some descent smoke.

Cannabis is extremely resilient. It's just some kind of unwanted HST that happened, nothing bad. Just check some of my diaries, sometimes when I scrog my plants , I have to break some stems and split the main stem in half it's called HST or Supercropping . So no worries bro, have fun and a happy growing 😉

The leaves are still green and as long as there is new growth, it will be fine. I would keep it taped until it's fully healed
