Hi @Fruitgrower! Yes you can, you sould have started a few days ago but it's still time to top those nodes and split that plant! But remember that each scissor cut will require between 1 and 2 weeks for the plant to recover, and grow some new nodes below the cut. So in your situation I would not recommend more than 1 or 2 topping surgery, because if you want 16 or 32 colas it's gonna take months. I'm a big fan of this technique, check out my photoperiodic diaries for some mainlining tutorials. Hope this will help, let me know in the comments section if you need any further information, and happy growing! 👊

Yes and no. Yes you can mainline your plant is old enough. If you want a step by step instructions with pics go to growweedeasy.com search mainline. Great website. Why I say no to is cuz all that time you have in veg will be wasted. These method of training is better done early in veg.

Absolutely, but I wouldn't recommend it at this time! Mainlining puts a lot of stress on the plant and takes a while to get the results that you probably want. I would suggest topping once and see how she starts to fill out. You will notice the top of the plant slows down growth and the side branches will catch up, creating an even canopy. Reason for this is marijuana is a very apical dominant plant, meaning it focuses most of its' energy to the top of the plant. Topping and mainlining allows you to create an even canopy, which makes the plant put its energy into the buds equally throughout your canopy. Here is a tutorial video I found on youtube that gives a good breakdown on mainlining. good luck and happy growing! 👊 www.youtube.com/watch

Well yes you can still be able to do it, but it’s gonna take a very long time of Veg, when Nugbuckets mainlining should take 6 weeks of Veg 😉 I would suggest you to not go over a 9 weeks Veg. Vegging any longer than 9 weeks Indoor is a waste of time, energy, and money.

Sure you can do it, just be sure to use a good pruning tool. Is it worth it though? Mainlining is basically topping over and over, but it takes weeks to get the number of tops you want.
