LST

That looks OK bro, The branches and the leafs stacked between will grow through the ring, I myself use metal wire, that way you could ben it more at the stem already. Anyway,let it grow through and fix it in a new point if you want to widen the plant even more. There's no right or wrong way as the others said already and I, on my first grow right now was also wondering if I did things right, but they will turn out good for you too, I'm sure. Just try things out and see how the plant reacts and enjoy the ride man. Happy growing

I guess I don't see your problem here... you've tied the ties to the pot itself, yes? So the plant can't actually BREAK those ties... what the plant looks like it's doing is bending back up growing towards the light which is what you want... it's saying it's not having a difficult time with the LST and that you're doing it correctly! LST is a constant effort to train growth where you want it... and at some point, you can stop - but that point comes when YOU are satisfied the plant is growing the way you want it to.... if it's not, add more ties... but if you're expecting the plant to lie down flat and stay there, it's not going to - that's not the nature of growth... the tip of the stem or branch will always be trying to get to the light and, since your light is over their heads, they will be growing UP... There is no "right" way or "wrong" way to LST... there is only the way you choose. Personally, I don't LST when the plants are this age - but that's my choice... I wait until they're in pre-flower and then pull the branches away from the stem and my plants always have a Christmas Tree shape to them - but that's fine by me... If I was intending to SCROG, it wouldn't be... It's whatever you choose, mate... you're doing fine! Good luck...

Your on the right track, LST is weird when your starting out and you’ll start to feel more comfortable with it. When i started out i read lots about it and it never clicked fully till i started practicing and getting a feel for the stems bending. I would say only bend the stems vs the leaves but when they are young its hard. High, you are doing great!!! You need to maintain the LST day by day because the plant always wants to grow up towards the light. Make small changes day by day. And When you use LST the thing that you thry to achieve is bending branches down till all the branches reach the same height. You do this so that all the branches and buds gain the same amount of light from your lamp. I always like to look at my plant from above and from the sides to make a plan how can I let all the branches grow at the same height, gain the same amount of light and all grow big and equal main colas. The LST technique is a marathon not a sprint! Haha you need to keep training her till she stopped streching and started full flowering. From that moment the plant is nit growing anymore because from that phase she is only focussing on the best part... The buds 😋
