Does anyone know what that thing is that is growing out of the node in the last picture? The picture doesn't really do it much justice, but I'm thinking it's either the start of a seed, or it's beginning to bud. I should mention that there are 0 white hairs anywhere on the plant.

Hi there! Looks like a male sex / banana :-( I'd recommend to wait a couple of days to ensure it's a male (or hermie), then it's up to you: throw away, or produce seeds. Good luck with this one!

That is what a developing pollen sack looks like sir. Unfortunately you have a male plant on your hands. I had 4 of them myself a few weeks ago and you can find my closed out diary with pictures. Better luck on the next one.

it looks like its producing a pollen sack i would remove and keep an eye for any more if more then its a male i would remove it if not breeding
