No defoliation is needed. And on the LST front. Simple outdoors is best buddy the way you have it now. Hmmmm that'll be a headache and it'll grow much better natural.
Defol is used for 2 things mainly
To keep RH down (you don't need 2, you're outside. To get more light to buds after pre flower is over and general light direction, in sense, only needed cause leds are a static light.
The sun moves, so no defol at any stage is needed, nor recommend. Only if your buds are super dense to allow airflow in between actual buds sugars can be pult up to allow air flow (only needed in high RH outdoors or if very rainy , also a good method for indoors to avoid rot)

There are only 2 reasons for defoliation. The first reason is when leaves are stacked on eachother and airflow can not reach both sides from the leaf. And the other reason is when 1 large leaf is blocking the light for a big part of the plant under this leaf.

There's nothing wrong with the way you're growing. Lots of ppl bend the plant like that but again more so for indoor static lights. You really will get better plant if you grow it upwards and LST (if even needed)

its will not be needed till later in the grow if it is needed at all.
its designed to help increase airflow to bud sites and allow light to penetrate though but good LST outdoors should not need it unless the plants super bushy and big.

Defoliated 2 fan leaves - pre flowering! :(I've just removed 2 big fan leaves that were potential light blockers.
I've just read that defoliating when flowering can stress the plant and reduce yield.
The first pistels have appeared in the last few days and I only removed two leaves.
