Recording PPFD during my grow

I just made screenshots of the stats in the app controlling the tent and uploaded those. 😉

I religiously put my DLI in the comments.

PPFD x Time(in seconds) = moles. 12 hours is 60x60x12 = 43200 seconds 500ppfd x 43200 seconds = 21,600,000 micro moles. 21.6 moles. DLI of 21.6 Really not complicated at all. Just switch out whatever time you are using. 18 hours is 64800 seconds.

At the moment, i think you can ppfd tag only in the Diarydeskription/Comments.

DLI would be the more relvant metric. PPFD depends on hours of operation. it's only half the equation of how much light you provide in an apples to apples way compared to other gardens of various sizes and various hours of operation. I don't think many can calculate it correctly in a consistent way. Even ppfd - most think ppfd a single-point measurement, which then dominos into an erroneous DLI calculation. Check out the wiki on DLI (daily light integral). It's thorough enough.

No. GrowDiaries doesn’t have a PPFD log field. You can add PPFD readings by putting them in week/comments.
