Day 1 of Seedling - 20th March 2023 Strain : Kukulkan ( Pyramid Seeds / Barcelona - Spain) Type: Feminized Photodependent. After not more than 72 hours, the seed has finally sprouted and the seedling stage officially started today. I have some doubts about the conservation conditions of the seed - both if the store that sold me the seed offered me the seed, and normally the individual seeds of Pyramid Seeds bank come on a little card where some plastic capsule protects the seed, so it was easy for sure on the transportation the order gets warmth temperatures or for instance the changing from a refrigerator to the outer area, can easily create temperature and moisture imbalance that could spoil the seed germinative potential. After all doubts and no more than 72 hours after, the seed (that yesterday reveal the seed "shells" already opened) shown its radicular main appendix and ASAP I have changed the seed from the wet paper towel environment within a tupperware to a jiffy plug where the hole where I lay down the seed was shortly filled with some Trichodermae. It is important for you, guys, who started just recently to use Trichodermae to know that one of the main properties of this particular funghi is to not only to protect the root development on the jiffy and protect the young seedling of some pathogens that can develop when we have on the jiffy more moisture that should be the correct one. As I am saying the Trichodermae can be used as a germination booster, due to the fact that this funghi has some outstanding properties such as been a biological enhancer of plant's growth hormones and normally a young root tend to spread out it's filaments structure when it is near of the Trichodermae funghi. So not directly over on the wet paper towel (one of this days I noticed as one of the most horrific YouTube stupidities some lad that spread over the wet towel some mycorrizas and Trichodermae just in the beginning of the germination process, with some non sense results such as the wet towel covered all around with a funghi "secondary product" as a yellowish "mucus like" substance probably not fit or without any tangible increment on the germination process and the guy say that he finally have success almost a week after of the seed was lay to germinate...I think that without any trichodermas or mycorrizas right from the start and turning the wet paper towel on a "mucus" mass, the seed has sprouted not in a full week, but on a maximum of 4 days) , the Trichodermas should be applied when the seedling sprout its first root appendix and when we pass the sprouted seed to the jiffy, normally on a half dosage of trichodermae on a shallow very small expresso coffee spoon on the hole of the jiffy and over its top. So March 20th. and a new photodependent season and specifically the Kukulkan strain, that detach for its massive buds (on each diaries of this strain, it is noticeable that outrageous size) and the general characteristics of this strain. So mostly it is very likeable that we will have on this strain both quality and quantity. I am excited to return again to the photodependents as the most natural expression on grow experience. Having possibilities to wether choose the number of vegetative phase weeks...after have the capability to get some topping and sizing the grow much more by HST than LST. For instance with topping use two times that technique and still have something like at least six weeks to develop the veg phase...after that shortening to 12/12 h cycle without loosing size and quality on buds and finally having only a grow on a large airpot (around 20 liters) and with this volume has the proper size to raise a grow on a full capability. So all of this is what we can optimize whenever we choose to get photodependents as our choice on the growing season and for all of you, lads, the ones that normally choose auto strains with the idea of get the process of growth easier, I haven't any doubt that the auto cycles are very much harder and get much more limited on what should be raising autos. Normally auto strains are what I consider "predetermined" and instead of the rules of "easiness", the autos are plain what they are defined to be, right from the start. So none "auto", has normally the "blueprint" variation that allows that with the intended light cycle exposure or "this or that other technique at some specific moment" can contribute to have not this pheno, but other alternative pheno instead. So all the photodependent sketch is very important to achieve the strain where we want it to go, on their development. The photodependents can overcome on the strain pheno and the yeld that you desire and as example I give this particular example of one of my late auto growth and the fact that I have on the blooming period some trifolium leafs, showing without any forgiveness that even in the flowering stage the grow is revealing it's ruderalis characters. So it is very noticeable that the incomplete genetics keeps on showing even with a desirable full growth season, in this particular, an auto season. So all my evaluation on the cycles is based on the advantages that the auto grows tend to express. Normally a photodependent season, allows to have a veg phase around 7 weeks and developing a blossom phase within 8 weeks more. On this grow he have 7 weeks where we pass to another 8 weeks on 12/12 h (and almost 60 days where at minimum we save not less than 6 hours a day on electricity). The photodependent grows allow as well to defoliate on a more effective way and getting not more than 5 to 8 perfect sketched colas that allow a massive bud existence and avoiding that the lower branching plant's area to drain the growth where more needed it is. My opinion is that according to the climate on southern Iberian Peninsula during summertime and following some factors as the temperature, even when two TS 1000 (150 w and 300 watts on total) allow to split the ballasts of the LED set and avoid that the temperature on grow room raise to limits the growth. So the full feminized photodependent grows are the ones that allow the grower to provide a complete control on each different phases and a grower that is so called a "grower" will develop the skills on this particular grow type and after each achievement on the photodependent seasons, the growers become more able to take the best decisions with the a much more certainty on the options they take. Finally, Jah God and a huge Green greets to the grower brothers, protecting us from repression agents, from people without much information and that call "weed", drugs and mostly against the recreational growers be absorbed by the rotten capitalism machine of the ominous seed banks, the bloody nutrients and parafernalia company owners and most of it, against to the one that sell themselves as the 420.ers "root people", but are simply another "yuppie" burgeois that "sell the weed philosophy" and practice the "praxis of the ones that can buy extravaganzas as luxury way of life". SMOKE THE WEED, DON'T SMOKE THE SEED (NO WAY...)
