TFTC: The Dreaded Strawberry Cough

Their faces are pulling rictus smiles at each other, which I can only guess is working in opposition to the vast amount of money people are spending to look good and avoid wrinkles. It feels like this silly dance they are performing is not only a defence mechanism: making sure everyone knows that only good and happy things are going on in their life, it is also a routine of vigilance. Either it is Sharon in the garden carefully taking an hour to weed a single flower bed, or David in the garage walking in and out, taking things in and out, only to leave the place no different than it was prior to his meddling. Or little Scott, he gets on his bike and cycles round and round in circles. Are they watching me or just watching? The plants are happy, well… as happy ass they can be. Still no flowers, it feels like there is something missing from them, a piece to complete and then the cycle will continue as it should. I am still worried that the CCC will want their plants back, they cannot be happy that I left. Regularly there will be dark vehicles that drive past, mini vans, large cars etc… This could simply be paranoia, this is suburbia, a place which attracts the same types of vehicle commonly associated with nefarious practices. I mean… more people on my street own a dark SUV than don’t, f****** soccer moms. I just wish the plants would sort themselves out, that they would get moving again, it just feels like they are stagnant, the flies have gone away, but a few of the leaves are just dying. I find myself staying up late at night watching them and the street outside of the house, just watching the nothing that is existence, a loop without an escape, a giant tumble drier someone spunked into and boom, life, a life that just keeps repeating until the thing breaks and death swallows us all. That is suburbia living, that is life at current, that is the plants, that is most of us, that is me.
