We apologise that the writers strikes have interrupted your regular viewing schedule, but a strike is a non violent demonstration to prove how much worth a group of people have in their field of vocation, it is done in an attempt to show that they deserve to be treated better, I think they are a great way to show the world how badly some groups are treated and honestly, think most of us should be on strike, however, there is this mentality that people often have which is to make fun of people striking, to ridicule them as not having work ethic or not enough intelligence to pick a better job. If you do have these thoughts, then why the hell are you here? Growing cannabis is and should always be an act of rebellion, it should always be something we do to kick against the world and the prescribed life people design for us, by growing you are saying "no, I do not accept the outdated traditional based laws of the land, no I do not accept what big corporations have to offer over the counter". As home growers we should be outraged that corporations are trying to steal our weed, a substance that until recently big corp would fire you for using and then would make sure you would struggle to find another job. They then have the audacity to try and grow it to sell back to us, where are the farmers markets? A person can grow fruit and veg to sell without a permit, why not weed? The world is supposed to be in the majority a capitalist economy, so if someone grows shit weed, you stop buying from them and go next door. If you live somewhere that the writers are protesting, do my country hick ass a favour, go to where they are protesting and share some weed with them, you never know, might make you famous, just imagine sparking up a joint with Neil Gaiman.
