Athosanswered grow question 7y ago Pretty standard height to me for an auto before the stretch. Autos begin to flower somewhere after deploying the 5th or 6th node (usually after the 5th); a 2 ft plant with 5 nodes is not better than a 6 inches plant with 5 node, actually it's worse, since all that height is useless and makes really hard to have an even canopy. (my last run I had 2 autos of that same size pre stretch, check them if you want).
Not related to your question, but half a gallon of water a day is asking for trouble; the plant is been over watered at the very least and you could attract fungus gnats at worst. For that size, use 50% or even 25% that amount every 5 days.
