Defoliate? Auto Week2 flower high humidity

I’m struggling to keep relative humidity below 65%-70%. Should I defoliate some lower fan leaves to help with this? Will doing so hurt overall yield? I’m at beginning of week 2 of flower. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah you should be fine mate. Just keep it to the lower stuff getting no light or won't ever really receive any light. Make sure you don't go overboard and strip to much off because it needs as many leaves as possible. Good luck.

I'd go with a little defoliation, certainly... but do keep it SLIGHT.... One thing you might try, if you have room, is to set up a cheapy dehumidifier for yourself.... take 2 5 gallons buckets, drill some holes in the bottom and sides of one of them and put it in the one you didn't poke holes in... now fill it up with rock salt and set it in your tent. The rock salt is superb at getting rid of moisture in the air and, as it does so, the water will drain down into the outermost bucket... empty this as frequently as you can - ought to help drive down the humidity at least a little! Good luck!

Yes you should, but I personally would wait a week longer and during all new lst would do all in once. Now give them time to recover and go back up, form flowers everywhere and then you readjust lst and do bottom clearing. They look great, just lolitop bottoms, create air movement and that's all. I learn to harm them once, it works. Done 2x250 g auto girls in soil. Previous was 9 girls, 200+ g in average. Light will penetrate max 1 feet (28 cm) properly. Have in mind flower stretch .... Good luck in yours !

May be it will help with humidity especially during night time. whatever you do with defoliation, keep it lite, plant process/transform nutrients and produce energy trough leaves and photosynthesis. Less leave well exposed to light => less overall growth
