Finding seeds on my plant seems like it may have converted to hermaphrodite from a light issue with a power outage. Should I harvest now or wait to see if it continues to bud?

Hello ! It depend on how much pollen she received , if she is hermaphrodite and you can't see where is the pollen sac then it was probably only a solo one that opened and pollinate your buds and if you have a fan in your grow space the wind must have make the pollen goes everywhere. If you can see the pollen sac remove it , if you can't find it the harm is already done because your plant is producing seeds instead of buds and will be a bit less potent (it will still be potent , tje loose is potency is not big ) and less fat than a non pollinised plant ( but the yield will not be ridiculous ). The seeds you will get out of this plant will be S1 seeds and will be a copy of the original parent that mean a Zsweet Insanity Hermie. Like I said the harm is done , so you should at least wait on a good trichomes ratio to harvest because you already have an hermies so don't need to add a small yield on the list. O hope it will help you 😁✌️🏼

oumaaan, yes its hard, but in the positive side you have seeds of that insane hybrid now. I would go on let her flower. She will give you a good yield at all. and some lilttle presents too. Hapy growing

Hi @CloudedHaze! Sorry to hear this πŸ˜• I would proceed to harvest now, the longer you wait the more seeds you will get into the buds. Unless you're really interested into seeds (then you should let the seeds mature for a while) chop her now and try to remove as many seeds as you can before the drying process, they can continue to mature/fatten up once the stem is cut (to the detriment of the weed itself). Hope this makes sense, keep us up-to-date and happy growing πŸ‘Š

Hey CloudedHaze, that's terrible + unfortunate ! what happens is when the ball sacks start to appear if you catch them early enough you can clean them off the plant with a scalpel and if you stay on top of it, you have a chance of keeping the plant unpollinated. Once the plant has gotten pollinated it's basically too late to keep it 100, in the sense that it's already been affected. So yes, your potency and yes your yield will be affected. the best thing you can do honestly is to harvest it now , depends on the trychomes obviously, but unfortunately it wont get much more potent if at all, the bud will curl in on itself and make seeds. If you check the trychomes and they look like they wont be ready, you can let the plant go and make seeds - free seeds right? thing is hermaphrodite is a trait passed down genetically.... Just make sure it doesnt contaminate other plants. If there are other plants around it, "bag it". Throw a black bag over it and make sure it doesnt come into contact with other plants. Sorry about what happened bro, hope this helps ! πŸš€
