When should I top these plants for main-lining? I think the 3rd set just started coming in?

Hi there! Normally you should wait until 5-6 nodes has grown and this has been tested by growers and this is generally "safe spot" 'cos the plant has grown good root structure by then and can handle the huge stress that the start of the mainlining reguires (Stripping almost everything) Then you top to 3rd node and remove everything except the two branches in the third node and the supporting fan leafs

LST all you want but I'd wait for another two nodes or so to pop up before topping.

Your suppose to wait until the plant has grown six nodes, It is important to wait to allow the plant to develop six nodes before topping for the first time, if you top earlier than this you risk stunting the plant.
