They need heat to germinate 22 to 26 c should do it. I usually just put them in a tub using the damp paper towel method and stick the tub on top of my laptop for 24hrs. The heat from the laptop does the trick and they have 1 inch tap roots after 24hrs . Then I plant .

Effect of cold temps during seedling stage?Anyone have any idea how cold temps would affect my growth this early? I tossed my 3 day old seedlings into their pots (started in a Jiffy pellet), and the temp went from 70 to 60 and stayed that way ever since... Thanks!

Sprouting delay. How long do I wait? Are lights on and fans running important while waiting for germinated seeds to sprout? I lightly water the medium.Germinated autos by paper towel method, & put them in soil 2 days ago. The still haven't sprouted out of the soil. How long should I wait? I'm trying to keep humidity between 60-70% and temperature 20-24C. The LEDS are on 18/6 and the fans are running for the pots. What do I do?

Why did my seedlings all die?My seedlings all died. This is the second time. What am I doing wrong? They germinate, I plant them in Promix HP soil, they pop up in a few days. I move them to the tent. Most of them never even lose their seed caps before they die, but a couple get real leaves first.
