Thatβll work just fine though I typically start by securing the base of the plant and pulling down from the top to let the undergrowth start. Then tie down the undergrowth in whatever direction you want it to grow as it starts to stretch out.

Wedding Cake to Toxic to Save??Wedding Cake Auto isnt looking the best. had nitrogen toxicity, flushed, has wonderful new growth then flipped back to an over watered curl. flushed with 5.8 water and not sure if i should continue this grow. pic 6 days ago. currently top curled like toxicity

Defoliation/LST for Northern Lights AutoHola!I am struggling a bit with deformation on my NL auto. Please see pics from week7. this is after defoliation and looks like fan leaves will overshadow cola sites again in a few days. should I defoliate more or leave it? First time LSTWhat can I do to encourage a side stem to grow to the same size/thickness of the main stem?
I have tied the top down and tied a stem out a bit to get the light but not sure if I'm doing something wrong that's stopping it from looking like it should, thank you for any help! ππWeek 3

I did an LST last time, but I'm not sure I did it right. Can you please tell me, given that the lateral branches are already very active, but the trunshould I do an LST in a 4-5 days? And maybe some tips. Last time I anchored the plant from the bottom so that the roots wouldn't come out of the ground from below and the stem wouldn't bend so much, and then pulled the stem over the top, is this correct?
