If I buy a cool mist humidifier for my grow room, will it decrease my indoor temp and increase my RH? Also, with a duct fan sucking up the air out of my grow room, how effective will it be? Unless I slow the air flow down. Thanks!

It will indeed lower your temperature and increase your RH. Your humidifier will work a little harder to maintain your RH that you set but that's it. Your exhaust is necessary to maintain a proper temperature in your tent. Use a VDP chart to find the perfect temperature to RH for every stage of growing. If you want PM your email and I'll send you an excel sheet that you input your data and you'll get the exact range required for each stage of a plant life cycle. Cheers.

hey there, i use a mister in my new growing set up , so let me tell you that it works great, in fact i won't ever grow without it. I have two 150W 1330M3/h exhaust fans (that s pretty big) and the inside the tent RH is hardly affected. I would not compromise airflow at all, especially not the exhaust - never turn your exhaust off ! So all i can say is that the mister will increase your RH some, but shouldnt really lower your temperature by more than a few °C. Hope this helps ! 🚀

@MMJMD hi there you should get a fan controller for the exhaust fan. I am not sure whether it will lower the temps but it adds moisture to the air which is good during veg
