I topped and two days later I broke off the new main shoots, but I should now cut off the large fan leaves because they shade everything underneath. The plant seems to have recovered well from the stress. Should i Cut ?

The hardest thing a grower must have is patience. Let the plant grow. When the stems start growing through the leaves it’s time to reevaluate the structure and cut.

Light is stongest at the top, closest to light. That's the absorption you want to maximize, not minimize. If you don't overcrowd, light penetration will occur naturally. You look fine. I would not remove your top leaves. don't remove leaves as best you can at all times. LEaves do moer than just absorb light, so even shielded leaves are value-added despite some bro-science out there that erroneously call them 'sinks.' they are not sinks. they are providers even in that context. if it was a sink, the plant would shed it. light penetration shoudl happen without effort. if it is too crowded, space out the branches better as opposed to removing leaves.

No...........those leaves are making most of the energy that your plant needs to grow its fastest. Less leaves = less energy being made = less potential growth..............it is that simple.

I would take it down to the next node. Leave a bit of a stump to help protect/support the top branches. Shaded branches have a tendency to grow more horizontal to seek out light.

Hey there plants looks pretty good I personally like to plant extra seeds at the start so I can toss plants like this I'm not the biggest fan of leaves of this type. As long as ypu have a decent amount of new growth going then you should be fine to chop those leaves. Personally I'd wait a few days to cut them off I would just cut 70% of the tips of the tips of those 4 big fan leaves. Qhen you fun off a majority of the tips of those fan leaves the leaves will most likely start praying super hard shortly after and will give alot more ligh to new growth below
