How do you protect your guerrilla grows from wild animals and predators?

Lost an entire guerrilla plant to animals. It was pulled out of the ground and another one had the stem base eaten. Hunters recommended Hukinol, but I can’t get it for 5–10 days. How do you protect your guerrilla grows from wild boars, deer, rabbits, etc.?

It also depends on the environment you grow in guerrilla mode. I pulled together the cut down larger trees and fallen branches, and built a regular barricade from them, so that it looked randomly thrown together to the outside observer.

bear traps! Pits with sharpened stakes! claymores! bowls of antifreeze... poisoned nuts... If you smell death as you approach, you know they are working.

Had this problem years ago, I stake out a big circle around the plants and use the green plastic garden mesh attached to the stakes. This seems to stop them getting too close to eat them. At the end of the grow I pull out the stakes, roll up the mesh and stash it near by for next year. My main problem is slugs and snails now.

Get some ground spicy pepper (like cyan pepper) and make a circle around the plant about 3-4 feet off the base of the plant. Animals that go sniffing around will have their senses disturbed and go away. Only animal usually not affected by the pepper is birds. Down side is a hard rain will wash it away and have to be re applied. You could also use motion lights or music, but im betting you are trying to be discrete. Just my thoughts, Best of luck! Happy Growing!

Hello. Do you have a dog? Know someone who does. Spread their brushed fur all around your grow. Put it on the game trails. and all around your grow. It will stop most animals. Not sure if it will stop the boars though.
