Initial cuttings entry for this journal on the to-be-pollinated F2s. We’ll be backing out each plant specimen against some F1 pollen in an effort to trait stabilize the best bud of the lot. Still debating on pushing my luck with just the aero-cloner through the whole shortened cycle. If not I’ll have to cobble together some sort of shallow dwc bin from scratch to accommodate them for the long haul. Pollen as soon as we see prevalent pistils. ***Grow notes: 2 cuts from each plant specimen against- #5 potentially a male. All lookn great and perky post-cutting. Let’s hope the F1 pollen is still preserved🤞🤞🤞.

Happy to see the plants taking off. Watering has not been an issue with the hot weather. Give them as much as they will take every 2-3 days. Gave them kelp meal (1tsp/gallon of soil) and some worm castings this week--about a handful worm castings per pot--dry amendments are very gentle and forgiving in soil. Fems: Both identified growing solo in 30 gallon fabric pots. Not pulling the 1st female much. I did gently set her under a small tomato cage slightly. 2nd female is growing regular--no pull--no pinch--nada!--just straight up. Males--As far as the male count--currently 6 males have been removed from the grow area.

Tuvo 40 días de vegetación en esta maceta, se le hizo podas apicales y Supercrooping para regular su altura. Al día de la fecha (29/5) lleva 17 días florando. Está hermosa. There is so much to discuss ! I have been extremely busy as of late trying to get this Harvest together, but i am happy to have it here for you now ! I Seriously under estimated the amount of time, help from others, and my own necessary skills to pull this off.. and i still kind of screwed it up lol ! But its worth noting i have never actually done this before and trying to document it during....was extremely hard. It is next to impossible to work an iPhone with rubber gloves on ! First I want to discuss everything step by step so before you jump straight into the comments on how the end product is so small in "quantity" Rest assured i am happy with its"quality"...and thats all that matters to me because Life is a journey not a destination! and i have learned so much from this grow that I couldn't be any happy even if i messed some things up :) But at the very least I hope you read through this entry in its entirety with an open mind and focus more on the process, rather than just the outcome! I ran out of Ice & i was only able to wash three times..(normally I've heard you should go sometimes 5-6 washes) Preparation is Key & things will be much better next round :) Photos 1-22 These are pretty self explanatory but for those of you just tuning in now.. this is what happens to a very happy plant when you don't have the necessary tools to monitor key components of growing cannabis.. Ph, as well as EC levels play a very key role in the outcome of your grow lol that being said I was just able to save this plant by purchasing both tools but that doesn't mean the plant didn't suffer because of the prior events.. This was a Huge reason behind me choosing to turn this harvest into what i would consider "Solventless Hash Rosin" from "Ice water extracted Bubble hash". Pictures 23 The idea here is the process of using "fresh Frozen Cannabis" this has been discussed many a time online on such sites as instagram and here on grow diaries as well.. I personally have Never tried the process so i decided to try it out and make a judgement for myself.. Video 24 The Cannabis has now been in the freezer for 72 hours making it very well frozen.. as you can tell i struggled getting it all into the 25u Screen Wash Bag. One thing of note i would do differently is i will de-stem my next batch as i also believe this played a part in the amount of plant matter that escaped through the sieves. Photo/Video's 25-28 The idea here is "ice water Seiving" & especially with the bags that I am using here that are only have screen material on the bottom portion of the bag it is very important to have spaces in-between the screens to allow the water to pass directly through the screens into the bottom bucket with the least amount of resistance.. because the hash is so extremely temperature dependant if it gets warm on the side of the bag.. it will stick there and not make it to the bottom to become use able product.. 29 You do not need to use as much Ice as i used here lol... the idea is to keep everything very cold..i certainly achieved that but at the sacrifice of using so much that i ended up grinding product and producing "contaminants" but in the end they are just plant matter that i would be smoking when i rolled up my joint either way so.. I'm not super disappointed.. But it should be noted that what you want to achieve here is a Layering effect where you have the wash bag between two small layers of ice while the "water current" washes the Trichomes away allowing them to be separated by the screens setup below :) Before Starting the machine you should allow some time (i.e.;10-12minutes pre soak to allow the product to become saturated) before the first cycle. By video 32 I have just ran out of ice lol.. Video 33-34 Here I have a tip for you.. to separate the screens that you sieve through.. cut 5 gallon buckets to stretch them across nice and tight.. it'll make scooping your Bubble that much easier ! i learned this from the many "Frenchy" videos I have watched :) Picture 35 Here in lays the problem for most people.. drying your hash without loosing vast amounts of "Terpenes" whilst also stay ever vigilant against mold ! Thanks to all those videos I've watched on youtube.. id like to think this was one of my most successful parts of this process.. Things to Note; Terpenes start to seriously evaporate at temperatures 68F or 20C you need to stay as cold as possible whilst bringing the Relative Humidity in the space down into the 40-30% to stay away from that nasty mold ! I used my cold storage room in the basement.. with a dehumidifier running to keep the space at 45% RH & staying at a constant 15c. All while spreading the hash as thin as possible across parchment paper, on top of the white screens with a fan moving air across both sides of the paper. Pictures 36-38 These are some macros i took in the middle of my drying session I fell in love with the colour. Yes i know the black spots are plant material but they will get caught when i bag the hash & squish the oil out. Thing to Note; at this stage it is important to ensure you 'micro plane" the hash down as fine as you can whilst staying weary of the temperature... any "chunks" will hold pockets of moisture.. that lead to potential problems..ie; mold ... Picture/Video 39-41 Successfully planed bubble hash ready to be bagged and Squished ! Picture 42 Ive decided to follow Pedro.. from Pedros Grow Room and double bag to be on the safe side so i don't have any blow outs. So thats One 25u bag inside one 160u bag ! :) Pictures 43 This is almost 3 grams of the bubble hash from above, already melting in the bag.. this is where i ran into trouble again lol things started getting to warm in the house and i was only able to get one of the three squish's i did on video :( things started getting sticky. Picture 44 This is basically just a photo of the equipment I'm using; 3x5 LowTemp Cage in the frame I built myself, with a 20Ton bottle jack. Something to note here is this is an older Lowtemp model with only a single heating zone which is which i have it closed here heating Both sides of the press :) As well as the importance of having adequate pressure on your plates.. my rig is very overkill for the size of hash bags..lol Video 45 Here is the lovely press video.. its didn't quite work the way i wanted either lol my directional folding wasn't quite tight enough for a big "drip" :) &the Press was set to 65°c Photo's 46-50 are pretty self explanatory :) I had a blow out.. but still managed to pull an 80% return from the hash once squished...& yes it tasted amazing :) Was it worth it in the end... that could be debated.. for some..i understand..its not your thing, but for those of us that are interested in making our own concentrates.. free from Solvents... I wouldn't make it any other way :) If even ONE of you reading this diary finds it helpful to reference for ANYTHING.....even if its "what not to do" ill consider it a success ! Day 43 purpling petioles is back. Root zone ph tests are perfect 5.9 6.0. She is fed at only 650 ppm on constant drip feed. Anything higher and was seeing some tip burn. May try low low low dose pk boost. I've read up on adding at 1/8 strength and feed middle 3 weeks can help. Think I'm going to give it a shot next reservoir change. Day 44 res change. Implemented Canna PK boost at 10% strength. Filled res with 2 gal. Will monitor plants signals. A couple bottom leaves yellowed and died. Not concerned as the leaves where well below canopy and low light conditions. Day 45 .75 gal consumed. All is well Day 46 she drank another 3/4 gal last night. Maintenance flush completed. Adjusted fan to above canopy and while doing so my hand inadvertently brushed against a bud and she smells of pure lemon candy at the moment. Stunning. Day 47 another 3/4 gal gone and the top of the coco had a few dry splotches. She's out drinking my feeder. I may have to add a second carrot to the pot. Day 48 she drank a gal last night. I think I finally got her flowering nutes dialed back in. Initial runoff ppm coming out same as going in. Overall appearance strong and healthy. Added 3 gal to res. Day 49 checked her at lights on and she was bone dry. Somehow got an air bubble in the drip line. Immediately drenched her. she looks fine. Fingers crossed. Added some pics/vids of some propagators that I'm playing around with. No MJ yet, but its spring and planting my herbs and veggies.

Start of flowering, week 1, day 29 for plants 2 & 3. Plant 1 will stay in veg, following same feed schedule as previous week's, but she will no longer be included in this diary. Plants 2 and 3 look very healthy and I trimmed several lower branches as they were getting minimal light.

First sights of trichomes on leafs (sugar leafs)! No issues she’s growing good just a few yellow leaves on gc2. Looked like she needed cal mag, chopped the yellowed leaves and put cal mag 6 ml. Usually give cal mag every other watering but ima give them more often since I’m using dechlorinated tap water.

Took some clones & defoliated/lollipopped I started building a veg tent and went with a 2x2 AC Infiniti equipped with the 4inch cloud line duct system was a boring grow week.. ready for flower

Great week so far :) will start some LST at the end of this week and be adding cal mag and some 1/4 strength bloom micro grow and then starting bud candy the following cycle :) Also have a nice little 3 leaf going ;p

Hi everyone 🤗 This week the two Kosher Tangie Kush were harvested by Amsterdam Genetics 😍. extremely good phenotypes. The blue cheese pheno 2 and 3 were placed in the darkroom according to the video. These were harvested yesterday, from which the pictures will come in the next update :-). All others need 2-3 weeks. I wish you lots of fun with the diary, stay healthy 🙏🏻 and let it grow 🌱

Day 50 - Starting week 8 and she’s as good as she can be right now. After reading some advice I may be giving her too much water so gonna slow down how much I give her from here on out. Even though this girl won’t produce as much as I’d like, I’ll still get something and will be growing another one soon. Day 52 - She still seems to be doing ok right now and the leaves are starting to fade a bit so will probably give her another round of nutes in the next couple of days but it might be too little to late for this girl. Day 53 - She’s starting to put on a bit of weight now. All her bud sites are all starting to lean over so might have to start using the yo-yo’s to keep her propped up. She’s just about dry so she’ll get some water tomorrow. Day 54 - She’s still doing good right now and gave her about half a gallon of water and nutes today. She still seems to be fattening up on a few of the buds but some are still pretty fluffy. She’s still pretty young right now so holding out hope that she’ll beef up, though I’m not seeing much more pistil development but all her trichs are still clear with a couple cloudy mixed in there. Day 55 - All still going well but nothing much to speak of right now. She took well to the watering yesterday and just took her out for some updated pictures and such.

🌱 Start: 17.07. 🌱 Hello everyone! This is my very first grow and I'm thrilled to share every step with you! 🎉 I'd appreciate any tips you might have to help me achieve the best results! 😊 Equipment: I've geared up with an Indoor Grow Kit from MarsHydro along with some BioBizz supplements to ensure my plants get the best care. 🌿 🌼 Seeds: I opted for Fast Buds seeds after hearing great things about them. They were delivered super fast—just two days! I’m especially excited to test the C4 strain. 🚀 I've begun soaking the seeds and setting up my space. Eagerly awaiting the transition to the next stage in a day or two! 🌱 📅 Update: 19.07. All three of my C4 seeds sprouted 1-2 cm within just 1.5 days! 🌱 It’s often recommended that autoflowers be planted directly into their final home, so I'm following that advice. I'm working on improving the air circulation in my tent to ensure the best environment for growth. 🌬️ I'm currently using 0.2L cups with big holes over the sprouts to maintain higher humidity during their initial two weeks. 💧 🎉 UPDATE 22.07. - THEY ARE ALIVE 🎉 My C4 sprouted on 20.07., and I'm overjoyed to soon share photos and a video of my little green buddy! 📸🎥 PS: My plant enjoys 2 hours of chill jazz music every day! HAHA 🎷🎶

I took the tiny plant out of the tent due to state laws. She is happily sitting in a window... we'll see what happens with her! Massive growth for both plants this week! They both doubled in size! I don't know whether to call my plants vegging, pre-flowering or flowering. I figured this was the last week of veg and next week is full on flowering!! They both stink! Gassy for sure! I'll need to turn start using my carbon filter soon... I caught a few cool time lapse videos this week. Especially after feeding them last night!! I fed them twice this week. The first time was at a third recommended dose and I jumped it to half yesterday. The leaves are clawing at the top of the plants... I think it is a lack of phosphorus due to me only watering them the last 2 weeks. Any thoughts out there? I'd love advice about defoliating... I have a couple massive fan leaves I could remove to open the canopy for flowers... I just don't want to stunt the plant or rob the main cola of a major energy source... Thoughts are definitely welcome! I tried my hand at LST... I think a few are working and a few aren't doing the job... Definitely need to figure this out! Again advice is welcome! Part of an 8pot tent. Sweet seeds always has been a great experience from seed to smoke. All the senses get a good dance when growing with this bank. So can’t say any better - looking forward to building a nice sweet seed variety. These are waiting for a Harvest in coming weeks so we have them around the place being looked after by spider leg LED fir the early stages. On mobile so will add nutrients to the diary as we go. Can’t have anyone thinking I’m feeding seed full clip lol.
