This will be a STAGGERED HARVEST so I'll update as needed! Taking the top in 3 parts over 2 days (1 snip per 12 hours to avoid shocking the plant) and leaving the bottom to mature a minute. I intend to leave a full smoke report once she's cured too which will be a while so circle back. ↺ Update: Yeah I can't handle this cold for 10-14 days. So I decided to do a fridge dry in a cardboard box. VERY last minute. Day 1 for each piece will be spent in my closet with 2 fans on (but not pointed directly at them) followed by the rest of the dry in the fridge. Update 11/9/25: Tested a tiny piece of a bud for dryness and WOW are these buds still not dry! Stems don't even almost break... they just bend all slow lol. So I took them out of the fridge and put them in my closet with fans on during "lights off" for my remaining plant. Guess I'm officially doing a hybrid dry thang now. Will prolly do 18 hours in fridge, 6 hours in closet daily just to help them along. Up to now I'd left them in the fridge all the time with 10-15 minute breaks (out of fridge with box open & fans on) once or twice a day just to get air circulating. So for anyone curious, the fridge dry method is truly "low and slow". Good news is the smell was VERY pungent when I broke up that tester bud, heh. No sign of mold or anything, I'd just like my weed to finish drying this century.
