Stella’s Trio

6/11/22 Today starts week 3 for Stella’s Cuatro, and I believe that I’m going to give them probably 1 more week, then I’m going to flip them. I have harvested 1 Darkstar before, and I have their mother flowering right now. Both their mother, and my first DarkStar plant were/are huge! My first had branches up to 52 inches long. Their mother is already 40.5 inches tall. I don’t want them to get that big. I don’t have the space! These ladies started receiving the Late Growth step 4 two days ago at the final feeding of last week. They continued receiving the same. The following nutrients were mixed into a gallon of water, of which, each plant received 4 cups each. CALiMAGic - 2 ml FloraMicro - 7.6 ml FloraGro - 8.5 ml FloraBloom - 4.7 ml Floralicious Plus - 2 ml The initial pH was 5.9. I added 3 ml of pH UP which adjusted it to 6.6. I didn’t even bother with my TDS meter. It’s been acting up lately. The runoff was noted as follows: #1, #3, and #4 all had a pH of 5.5. Which is a lot lower than I like to see. #2 was 5.8. The tent was 79F, and humidity was 49%. They are all growing tall, but not out. Their branches are still short and not very developed yet. They’re all clones from the same mother and started out as tiny cuttings. I had to top #2, and #4 today because they were growing super tall, and I don’t want them any taller. That’s all for today. Happy growing everyone! 6/13/22 Well, it seems that #2 & #4 are starting to develop their branches! #1 got tall enough for me to top her today, but #3 is just a tiny bit behind still. #1 is 14 inches tall. #2 is 15 inches tall. #3 is 11.5 inches tall. #4 is 14 inches tall. Almost all are equal in height so far, and I will hopefully be able to make room in the flowering tent for them next week. They are big enough! Because of their size, each of them are requiring more water than 1 gallon can produce for the four of them. Today I mixed 2 separate gallons of nutrient solution. 1 gallon for #1 & 2, and another for #3 & 4. Each gallon received the same nutrient level, Late Growth step 4. Both had an initial pH of 5.9. I added 2 ml of pH UP to each gallon which adjusted their pH to 6.3. Runoff was wonderful after each plant received 6 cups (0.375 gal.) #1 & 4: pH - 5.5 #2: pH - 5.9 #3: pH - 5.4 The tent temperature was 82F, with humidity at 60%. Stella’s Cuatro are looking wonderful! Just need to finish this week, then flip to flower! Happy growing everyone! 6/14/22 The foursome received nothing more than a sip today. I gave them equal amounts of what solution was left from yesterday, which was 1 3/4 cups each. Only 3 of my ladies had any runoff to measure. Like I said, it was just a sip. #1&3: pH - 5.5 #4: pH - 5.6 The solution pH was 6.3. The tent temperature was 80F, and the humidity was 63%. These girls are going into the flowering tent this weekend. This is their last few days to veg. I don’t want them getting any bigger. It should be a colorful grow room near the end. One can only hope. Happy growing everyone! 6/16/22 I didn’t feed my ladies yesterday, even though I probably should have, but honestly, I just didn’t care. Yesterday that is. I cared enough today though. All of them are continuing to grow … a lot! #1 is now 17 inches tall. #2 is 19 inches, #3 is 16 inches, and #4 is 17 inches tall. They are all between 10-12 inches away from the lights. I made two separate gallons for 1 & 2, and another for 3 & 4. Both gallons contain the same nutrients, and the initial pH was 6.1 for each gallon. All of them received 6 cups of solution. The runoff for each was ok. Runoff pH was as follows: #’s 1 & 3 both had a pH of 5.7. #2 was 6.1, and #4 was 5.8. The temperature in the tent was 81F, and humidity was 66%. Tomorrow they will each just get a sip of what solution is left, then in 2 days (Saturday, 6/18/22) they’ll be flipped to flower. I really can’t wait till Saturday. Happy growing everyone!
