Regarding flushing, specifically in hydroponics - should you do 48 hours of darkness during last two days of flushing, and should you deprive plants of water before harvest? (if so, just drain basin?)

In principle, the 48 hours of darkness are meant to signal to the plant that it reaches the end of its cycle .............. Regarding the rinsing, I recommend that you Flush 4 days and then give 48 hours of darkness ........... ..)

You can do everything you listed above but it is better to keep it simple and just flush 😊✌️🏼

flushing in hydroponics is the easiest part : just plain water for a day no need to do more than a day, but you can do maybe 36/48 hours too, longer than that the trykes will start to deteriorate. Flushing is hydro is the main advantage of hydro : since the flushing period is so short you can be real precise timing your chop. Same for the darkness period, i'm happy with 12hrs but you can go 24hrs too, according to some scientific experiments trykes start oxidizing after 24hrs, but you do get a stronger terpene profile which is nice. no need to deprive the plants of water before harvest, but what you can do is pull the plant, dont chop it, and hang it whole including the roots. Kind of an old school "trick", there's plenty you can do with the roots and leaving the roots on the plant will allow it to dry slower and a slower dry means a better cure... better cure , stronger weed, what's not to like ? hope this helps ! 🚀
