1. How do you cool your reservoir? I don’t see any coolers. 2. Light leak - very possible with the kind of rig you have. 3. Tell me more about the roots. Are they slimey? Do they stink? Is the water acidotic? Does stuff come off when you rub against the roots? Does your roots fall off easily? It could be nutrient sediment built up. Depends on the symptoms. 4. You don’t use microbes such as hydroguard or mycorrhizae. Without them roots will be weak and more prone to infection. 5. If you did have microbes and root rot has happened, be careful using h2o2 because it will kill every thing including your healthy flora. If your healthy flora dies, your plant will die (almost guaranteed). In a case like this, it’s sad but I’d get rid of the plant because eventually it can spread to other roots given you have a ebb flow system it probably affected all the roots already at this point. If you do decide to get rid of the plants, I’d bleach every thing.

Use a 1 to 1 mix of hydrogen peroxide and water. Saturate soil. Do not get on leaves. When hydrogen peroxide enters it kills root rot then breaks dows as oxygen in soil.

>Remove any brown, slimy roots, which can be done by running thru water and a clean pair of scissors. If there is no white roots left then sadly it will most likely not improve. >Once the rotten roots are removed you can try a soak of 30ml of 3% peroxide to a gallon of water for one hour. >The peroxide provides extra oxygen to the roots. I would also suggest that you flush your hydroponic system, clean it really well, and ensure your air stones, pump are working and not contributing to the root rot. Great Luck & Happy Growing 🌱
